Transmog Farming Order

What it does

Transmog Farming Order is an addon made for Collectors. It tells you which class and loot spec to use to when you want to farm all appearances from the same boss, rare, container or even custom All the Things groups.

It reads loot and collection data from All The Things, then ranks items by exclusivity and overlap. Spec loot mode follows what each spec can actually loot, not only what the class can equip.

How to use

1. Install All The Things and this addon.
2. Type `/tfo`.
3. Add a source with an NPC ID (rare or boss) or an item ID (cache, timewalking box, and similar).
(Optional) You can also bind Import ATT Group under Key Bindings, Transmog Farming Order which lets you import all transmogs from an ATT group. `/tfo att` does the same thing.
4. Check the appearances you want. Uncollected selects only what ATT still marks missing.
5. Follow the farming order on the right.

Toggles

Simple / Advanced Simple is just the order, with the best choice starred. Advanced adds drop chance, expected kills (~N), and +N later (leftover items this spec or class uniquely drops that the others on this step cannot).

Sources / Shared Collection mode. Sources (default) counts an item collected only when you have that specific item. Shared counts it if you already have the same appearance from any item. Uncollected follows this setting.

Reuse / Lockouts Reuse lets a class come back later for leftovers it still farms well. Use it if you have lots of alts of the same class. Lockouts assume that once you used a class, you have no characters of that class left, and later steps pick the next best alternatives.

Spec Loot / Class Loot Spec Loot (recommended) filters drops by loot specialization. Class Loot is the exception, mostly older content that ignores loot spec.

Example: All The Things group

1. Open All The Things and find the group, for example Delves, then Delve Completion.
2. Hover that row so the tooltip is on Delve Completion.
3. Press Import ATT Group(or `/tfo att`)
4. In TFO, click "Uncollected" or "Select All".
5. Read the farming order on the right.
6. To add anything else into the same list, keep that source selected, hold Shift and press Import ATT Group again.

Example: Container

1. Cache of Timewarped Treasures is a container from Wrath Timewalking.
2. Item Id of Cache of Timewarped Treasures is 208094. You can enable this to show in ATT on hover.
3. Click "Item", enter the ID and click + to add it your list. Now either select "Select All" or "Uncollected". In the screenshot below, I selected "Uncollected" for reference.
4. On your right a farming order will be displayed.
5. As you collect new transmogs, either check off the step or click "Uncollected" to update the list.

Example: Rare

1. High Reaver Damaris from Zereth Mortis. Rare ID is 182155.
2. Click "NPC", enter the ID and click + to add it your list. Now either select "Select All" or "Uncollected". In the screenshot below, I selected "Select All" for reference.
3. On your right, a farming order will be displayed. I am not missing any loot from the rare, so all loot is greyed out. Common boss drops that are shared across rares are also added to the list if available.
4. As you collect new transmogs, either check off the step or click "Uncollected" to update the list.

The addon tries to filter the loot in a way to optimize the amount of total attempts needed to collect all items within that source.
It will display an assumed loot chance that depends on how much total loot is available for that class spec. It will probably not be 100% accurate. Based on that data, it also shows you the amount of attempts roughly you can expect.

Commands

* `/tfo` open or close the window
* `/tfo help` list commands
* `/tfo att` import the All The Things row under the mouse (hold Shift to add it to the selected custom list)
* `/tfo add <npcID>` add a rare or boss
* `/tfo additem <itemID>` add a container item

Notes

Spec loot lists are maintained by weapon type. Blizzard can change those rules. If an item looks wrong, `/tfo item <itemID>` prints who the addon thinks can loot it.
