Trading Book

Find out what your auction house activity really earns. Trading Book records your sales, purchases, listings, expiries and cancellations across your account, follows the items and gold you hold, and turns it all into clear statistics.

There is nothing to set up: it records in the background as you play. Open it with /tradingbook, the minimap icon or the addon menu.

First version. The logic is covered by automated tests outside the game, but the addon has not yet been tested in the game client, and the translations have not been reviewed by native speakers. Bug reports and corrections are welcome.

Auctions

• History of your sales, purchases, listings, expiries and cancellations
• Your active auctions
• Details for each operation: sale price, auction house cut, deposit, amount received, buyer or seller

Stock

• Every tradable item you hold, wherever it is: bags, personal bank, Warband bank, mail and auction house
• Filter by location
• Change over the last 7 days for each item
• Estimated value per item and in total

Stats

• Net profit, sales, purchases, fees, sell-through, stock value and gold
• Over 7, 30 or 90 days, or all time
• Net result chart over the period
• Results per item, with average sale and purchase prices

Gold

• Gold curve over time
• Change, average per day, best and worst day, peak, days up and down
• How much of the change comes from auctions, and how much from everything else
• Breakdown by holder: each character and the Warband bank

Your whole account, or one character

The data covers your whole account. A menu narrows the display to one character, including one you are not logged in on. A character is included once you have logged in on it with Trading Book enabled.

How the numbers work

Net profit = sales - purchases - fees

Fees = auction house cut + unrefunded deposits + cancellation costs

Stock value uses Auctionator prices if it is installed (it is optional), otherwise the average of your own sales over the last 90 days. An item with no known price counts as zero.

Commands

• /tradingbook opens or closes the window
• /tradingbook auctions, stock, stats or gold opens a tab directly
• /tradingbook minimap hides or shows the minimap icon

Languages

Trading Book follows the language of your client: English, French, German, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Good to know

• A sale only appears once its mail is collected. It is still dated from the mail's remaining time, so the per-day statistics stay correct.
• The bank and the Warband bank show their content as of your last visit.
• Stock in the mail only covers the first 50 messages loaded by the client.
• Items are grouped by ID, so item level variants and caged pets are merged.
• Crafting costs are not known: profit only counts auction house purchases.
• The history keeps the latest 20,000 operations.
