Track Shield

A stacked progress-bar display for Classic Era / Hardcore showing every absorb shield currently active on you — Power Word: Shield, Mana Shield, Fire Ward, Frost Ward, and anything else that works like one — each with an icon, a school-colored bar, and its current/max absorb value.

What it does

A bar appears the moment a shield lands on you, and disappears the moment it's consumed or expires.
Multiple shields stack simultaneously (e.g. a priest's Power Word: Shield plus your own Mana Shield and Frost Ward all up at once each get their own row), so you can see at a glance how much total damage you can eat before you start taking real hits.
Bar color reflects the shield's damage school (fire, frost, shadow, holy, etc.), fully customizable per school.
Each bar's icon has a countdown swipe/timer showing time left before the shield expires.
Two display styles: horizontal Bars, or a Segmented bottom-up meter with configurable segment spacing (down to fully touching plates). Size and text scale are adjustable for either style.
A "Toggle test shields" button in the options panel spawns a few fake shields so you can preview style/size/color changes without needing to actually be shielded in-game.

Usage

Open Escape → Interface → AddOns → Track Shield for the options panel:

Toggle test shields — preview a few fake shields to check style/size/color changes.
Lock position — stop the display from being dragged.
Bars / Segmented (vertical) — pick a display style; the two size sliders below relabel themselves to whatever applies to the selected style.
Text size — font scale for both styles.
Reset position / Reset appearance — separately reset placement vs. style/size/color settings back to defaults.
Shield colors — a swatch per damage school; click one to open the color picker.

Or use slash commands (/trackshield or the shorter /tshield):

/trackshield lock       -- lock the display in place
/trackshield unlock      -- unlock it so it can be dragged
/trackshield reset        -- reset position to default
/trackshield style        -- cycle between Bars and Segmented
/trackshield test          -- toggle the fake preview shields
/trackshield debug          -- toggle chat debug output for SPELL_ABSORBED parsing
