TotemWeave

TotemWeave is a customizable Shaman interface for World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. It combines totem management, buff and cooldown tracking, weapon enhancements, profiles, alerts, and totem-twisting tools into one compact addon.

For full transparency, AI was used in the creation of this project. I am not a developer or software engineer, just a guy with a full time job and neither the knowledge or time to learn to do this on my own. This project takes inspiration from the many other totem tracking addons out there, but I didn't feel like any single one had all the features I wanted in one package. I also did not use any files or code from any of these addons in this project and it was started fresh from the ground up, but with feature sets in mind.

With this disclaimer out there, I will not be taking any tips or donations for this project, nor will I attempt to make money from it in any way unless such a time comes that AI usage is eliminated from the development process. If you do not agree with the use of AI, I totally understand if you do not wish to use this addon.

Totem Bar

Manage all four Shaman totem elements from a movable and customizable bar.

• Displays the currently selected or active totem for each element
• Supports horizontal, vertical, compact, and grid layouts
• Reorder Earth, Fire, Water, and Air totems with drag and drop
• Optional active-totem glow, duration timers, pulse sweeps, and party range indicators
• Desaturates inactive elements and highlights missing totems during combat
• Adjustable scale, spacing, opacity, position, and button order
• Save custom layouts for quick reuse

Spell Tracker

Track important Shaman buffs, cooldowns, and weapon enhancements in a separate configurable display.

Supported tracking includes:

• Water Shield and Lightning Shield
• Earth Shield, including ownership and overwrite detection
• Weapon imbues (Windfury, Flame Tongue, etc.)
• Wizard Oils, Sharpening Stones, and Weightstones
• Important Shaman cooldowns and talent abilities
• Shield charge counters with configurable placement

The Spell Tracker supports multiple bars, horizontal or vertical layouts, alignment controls, custom icon ordering, drag-and-drop placement, and saved layout presets. Abilities that have not been learned remain hidden instead of leaving unwanted gaps when alignment is enabled.

Click Actions

Optional click actions provide quick access to frequently used abilities:

• Left-click the Shield tracker to cast your preferred shield
• Right-click to switch the preferred shield
• Left-click Earth Shield to cast it using your selected targeting priority
• Right-click Earth Shield to remember a friendly target
• Left-click the Weapon Enhancement tracker to reapply the selected enhancement
• Right-click to choose from available Shaman imbues, oils, stones, and other supported enhancements

Some click-action changes are safely delayed until combat ends because of World of Warcraft’s protected-action restrictions.

Profiles

Create profiles for different specializations, encounters, or playstyles.

• Save and load complete totem configurations
• Configure totems and twisting defaults before applying a profile
• Favorite commonly used profiles for quick access
• Search, rename, duplicate, and delete profiles
• Export and import profiles using shareable profile strings
• Quickly load favorite profiles from the minimap menu

Totem Macros and Twisting

TotemWeave can create and update character-specific macros using your configured totems.

• Customizable four-element cast-sequence macro
• Drag-and-drop cast order
• Configurable macro reset time
• Optional twisting macros for supported elements
• Automatically updates macros when your selected totems or profiles change

Alerts

Configure visual, sound, or chat alerts for important Shaman conditions.

Available alerts include:

• Missing elemental totems during combat
• Missing or low-charge shields
• Earth Shield expiration, low charges, or being overwritten by another Shaman
• Missing or expiring weapon enhancements
• Windfury twisting windows

Customization

TotemWeave includes controls for:

• Scale and icon spacing
• Background opacity
• Exact X and Y positioning
• Horizontal and vertical layouts
• Alignment and anchoring
• Multiple Spell Tracker bars
• Custom layout presets
• Independent Totem Bar and Spell Tracker locking
