Tooltip MouseOver Classic

TooltipMouseover is a simple, lightweight addon that attaches the standard Game Tooltip (item stats, spell info, NPC names) directly to your mouse cursor.

The goal is to keep your eyes focused on the action, rather than constantly looking down at the bottom corner of your screen to read details.

Why use this addon?

• It is extremely light: It uses no heavy libraries or complex configuration menus. It just does one thing and does it well.
• Better Visibility: By default, the tooltip is offset slightly to the bottom-right (X=30, Y=-100). This ensures the text never blocks the icon, unit, or raid frame you are currently hovering over.
• TBC & Classic Fixes: It includes specific code to prevent the visual "stretching" glitch often seen with tooltip anchors in older versions of WoW.

Configuration To keep the addon lightweight, there is no graphical interface. You can configure everything using simple chat commands.

Type /tmo in the chat to see your current settings.

• /tmo x 50 Sets the horizontal position. Positive numbers move it right, negative numbers move it left.
• /tmo y -50 Sets the vertical position. Positive numbers move it up, negative numbers move it down.
• /tmo reset Resets the position to the default settings (X=30, Y=-100).

Compatibility This addon works on Retail, Cataclysm Classic, TBC Classic, and Classic Era/Hardcore.
