TokenCore - Roguelike Survival Mode

Turn your World of Warcraft Classic journey into a high-stakes survival challenge.

TokenCore introduces a "Life Token" system to the game. You start with a limited number of lives. If you run out, your run is over. But unlike standard Hardcore, you can fight back: Earn new life tokens by hunting rare elites, slaying dungeon bosses, or completing difficult challenges.

💀 The Core Mechanics

• Life Tokens: Your lifeline. Every death (or rule violation) costs 1 Token.
• Game Over: If you hit 0 Tokens, the HUD turns red and announces "GAME OVER". Your run is officially ended.
• Earn Rewards: Open the Achievement Journal (Minimap Button) to see targets. Killing Hogger, clearing Deadmines, or slaying 50 Boars can restore a lost token!

⚔️ Game Modes

Choose your destiny in the Setup Wizard when you start a new character:

1. 🩸 Adrenaline Mode (Time Attack)

"Time is your enemy."

• You are on a clock (e.g., 3 Minutes).
• Timer is paused if you stay in a safeplace (like a Tavern or City)
• If the timer reaches 0: You lose a Token.
• Survival: Killing enemies grants you extra time. You must keep killing to stay alive.

2. 🕯️ Cursed Mode (Level Decay)

"The curse grows stronger..."

• Every 10 Levels (Lvl 10, 20, 30...), you automatically lose a Token.
• You are forced to take risks and hunt achievements to stockpile lives before the next curse hits.

3. 🧑‍🌾 Peasant Mode (Gear Restriction)

"Know your place."

• You are forbidden from wearing high-quality armor.
• The Rule: Configure your limit (e.g., "White/Common only" or "No Blue items").
• Punishment: If you equip a forbidden item, you are instantly punished by losing a Token.

4. ⚙️ Custom Mode

"Your rules."

• Mix and match! Enable the Timer, the Curse, and the Peasant restrictions all at once for the ultimate nightmare run.

📜 The Rules of the Hunt

TokenCore prevents "cheesing" to ensure a fair challenge:

• Slayer Achievements: To progress in "Slayer" quests (e.g., "Kill 50 Beasts"), the enemy must be your level or higher. Killing grey/green mobs won't count!
• No Freebies: Reaching Level 10, 20, etc., is an achievement, but it does not grant tokens (to prevent infinite farming).
• Peasant Watch: The addon scans your equipment in real-time. Don't try to sneak on that Blue chestpiece!

🛠️ Usage & Commands

• This Addon is meant to be played on non-hardcore realms!
• Minimap Button: Left-Click to open the Achievement/Target List.
• HUD: Drag the HUD anywhere on your screen to track your Tokens and Timer.
• /tca - Open Achievement Window.

📦 Installation

• Download TokenCore.
• Extract it to your \Interface\AddOns\ folder.
• Log in to a character.
• Follow the Setup Wizard to choose your mode.
• Survive.
