What's new

v0.2.257 Public Beta

TNAF has been updated for WoW 12.0.7.

This release focuses on bringing the addon up to the live client, cleaning up several unfinished helper systems, and making the public beta feel more honest and reliable overall.

Highlights

- Updated for WoW 12.0.7.
  - TOC interface updated to 120007.
  - Version info, welcome popup, and version notes now mention WoW 12.0.7.

- Added the Mythic+ Travel Map module.
  - TNAF still reads the current Mythic+ dungeon list from Blizzard.
  - Travel maps are now handled through a separate modular data file.
  - Clicking a mapped Mythic+ dungeon opens the intended travel zone instead of trying to force broken dungeon map IDs.
  - If no travel map is known yet, TNAF will tell you which dungeon and ChallengeModeID are missing.

- Added the Source Location / Waypoint Helper foundation.
  - Achievement Hunter results can now use curated source-location data.
  - Known sources can show the raid/dungeon, zone, and a /way-style travel hint.
  - TNAF no longer tries to guess coordinates from unreliable map data.
  - Unknown sources now fail honestly instead of showing questionable coordinates.

- Improved FunStats.
  - Removed tiles for stats that were not safely trackable in the current release.
  - Added trackable instance visit stats.
  - TNAF can now count dungeon, raid, and conservative delve visits from the point the addon is installed.
  - Added tiles for most visited dungeon, most visited raid, dungeons/delves today, and busiest dungeon day.

- Improved backup export.
  - Added Backup v2 compact serialization.
  - Full backups are still complete and do not intentionally drop long-term data.
  - Older v1 backup strings remain importable.

- Improved Mythic+ readability.
  - Table text is larger and easier to read.
  - The current keystone row keeps its highlight behavior.

- Continued localization cleanup.
  - German and English version info, welcome popup, and version notes were refreshed.
  - Duplicate localization entries were cleaned up.
  - Credits and contact information were improved.

- Continued UI and data cleanup.
  - Reputation scanning was improved so the update button no longer requires manually opening and expanding the Blizzard reputation panel first.
  - Reputation rows use a stable generic reputation icon for now.
  - Death Places received additional spacing, scroll, and cached-locale fallback improvements.
  - Statistics now include Mounts, Pets, and Toys, with better column alignment.

Known Notes

- Some travel locations and waypoint helpers are curated manually and will be expanded over time.
- TNAF prioritizes opening the correct travel zone over guessing exact entrance coordinates.
- Some statistics can only be tracked after installing the addon because Blizzard does not provide historical data for everything.
- For the best account overview, log into each character at least once.
- TNAF avoids heavy background polling and permanent scanning where possible.
