A challenge mode inspired by a ruleset from the RuneScape community, called "Tileman".
The world is divided into sections, and the player must progress the world one section at a time.
Unlocking new tiles as they earn the rights to do so.

For a deeper introduction to the concept I recommend checking out some of these videoes:
Tileman by Settled (RuneScape)
Tileman by Wabs (WoW)
PS: Currently being playtestet!
I can't garantee that the available settings will result in a completable journey just yet.
Hopefully the initial estimations should make for a good challenge and phasing.
I wish to implement bonus incentives in the future. These will be zone specific goals which allows to unlock more tiles and dynamically change each playthrough to make it more interesting. Such that you don't nessesarily want to take the exact same path each time. (For now you may manually reward yourself extra tiles only but you will have to track your incentives by yourself)
Bonus incentive ideas:
- Collect 100 of a common item in that zone.
- Collect 5 uncommon items in that zone.
- Kill a specific random rare mob in that zone.
- Do a random emote at a random NPC in that zone.
Other ideas I might also work on in the future:
- Group mode. Share and synchronize tile gains and costs with a friend. This sounds like a fun idea, but I sense it might be subject to a large rework if implemented prematurely. I would like to balance the solo experience a bit first.
