TideCaller v1.4.1
What's new
1.4.1 — five fixes
- The settings window fits. Its last row, Lock Missing Panel, sat half
outside the foot of the
/tc settingswindow, and "Always Show Earth Shield (once learned)" ran into its switch. The window is now as tall as what it holds, and the setting reads "Always Show Earth Shield": the card still shows only once you have learned the spell. - The Shields panel is for shamans. Every character with TideCaller
enabled logged in to a Shields panel reading "No Shield", and had a
TideCallerDrop macro made among its macros, whatever its class. Both now
happen for a shaman only.
/tc shieldsstill opens the panel on any character, and closing it there no longer closes it for your shaman. - A totem first used in a fight shows when the fight ends. A totem you had never put down outside a fight stayed off the totem display, even after the fight was over with the totem still standing, and went on doing so in every fight after. It now appears as soon as the fight ends, and from then on shows with its timer the moment you cast it in a fight.
- Lighter in a crowd. With a buff totem down in a party, TideCaller checked the whole party's buffs again each time anybody nearby gained or lost a buff, strangers included, and worked hardest in a fight, when the game hides buffs and there was nothing to find. It now looks only when you or a party member changes, and gives up at once in a fight. Nothing on screen changes.
- The minimap's addon list opens TideCaller. Clicking TideCaller in the
list of addons by the minimap raised an error and opened nothing. It now
opens the totem set window, the one
/tc uiopens, and a second click closes it.
Supported versions
Built for WoW: Forever, and for retail, where the addon API is the same. Tested on the Forever beta with a shaman (the totem display and the shield cards), and before that on retail.
TBC Anniversary is no longer a development target and will receive no further work. 1.2 stays available for it.
