The Goblin Arcade

Goblin games to play with your friends between pulls. Pinball, a party board game, table games for two to eight, a pocket goblin of your own, and an idle game. Open it with /arcade, or the ticket on your minimap.

The games

• Kaboom! Goblin pinball. Light the kegs, wake the volcano. On your own, for your best score and your guild's weekly board.
• The Gobfather's Gala (2 to 8). A party board game with a minigame every round: races, an arena brawl, secret picks. Collect Trade Licenses through the night; the most licenses wins.
• Last Chute (2 to 8). A burning zeppelin full of loot. Push your luck: jump before it goes.
• Crate Stacker (2). Head-to-head crate stacking. Line up four to ship.
• Depth Charges (2). Hide four boats in the harbour, then bomb theirs.
• Pitch Meeting (3 to 8). Pitch the Gobfather your ideas, then back the best one.
• Paper Trail (3 to 8). Write, draw, guess, repeat. The contracts get weird.
• Tomagobchi. A goblin of your own, out of a crate. Feed it, play with it, keep it just dirty enough. Dress it, do up its pad, paint signs for its walls, and see what it grows up to be. It keeps you company in a pocket, and goes round to friends' goblins for a visit, or a sleepover.
• Trade Prince. An idle game: grow a junk stall on the Booty Bay docks into a goblin empire, one terrible decision at a time. It keeps earning while you're away.

Playing with friends

• Tables for your guild, your party, or invite only. Join one, or watch a game that's on. At two-player games, get in line: winner stays on, take turns, the host picks, or a knockout with a bracket and a champion.
• The hub shows who's around and what they're playing, with a Lounge to chat in and your guild's leaderboards.
• Arcade tickets for every game you finish, to spend at the Prize Counter: titles, prizes, and things for your goblin.

Privacy and fair play

• It talks to your friends' copies through hidden addon messages only. Nothing goes to public chat.
• Anything a player types (chat, names, drawings) goes through Blizzard's logged addon channel.
• No real gold changes hands, and it never plays the game for you.
• You can hide what you're playing, appear offline in the arcade, or turn the Lounge off.

Commands

• /arcade or /gob: the hub. /arcade minimap hides the minimap button.
• /tomagobchi (or /gobchi): your goblin's pad. /tomagobchi pocket: its pocket.
• /kaboom, /gala: straight to those.
• /tp: Trade Prince. /tp help lists everything.
• Key bindings, under The Goblin Arcade: the hub, your home game, Trade Prince, Kaboom!, Tomagobchi, the pocket.

Good to know

• Tables reach your guild, your party, and people you invite: WoW only lets addons talk to a guild, a group, or one person at a time.
• Everyone at a table needs the same version of the arcade (it says so when someone doesn't).
• Works in WoW Forever and in retail.
• It's new. If something looks wrong or breaks, leave a comment here and say what you were doing.
