The Fishing Log - fishing tracker and tournaments for WoW: Forever

The Fishing Log is a fishing addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. It weighs every fish you catch, keeps records for every lake and river, and lets you run fishing competitions against other anglers on your realm.

Every catch gets a weight. Every spot has records to beat. Every angler with the addon is a rival.

Features

• Fishing log - starts when you cast, tracking your catches, weights, fish per hour and session time.
• Specimens - rare monster fish, only found in their native waters.
• Fishing tournaments - host a match at your spot and nearby anglers are invited. Solo or teams, with several scoring formats.
• Event noticeboard - post a fishing event for later, others sign up, and it starts itself when the time comes. Guild-only events supported.
• Spot records and leaderboards - all-time and seasonal records for every fishing spot, shared between players. Land the heaviest fish and you're King of the Lake.
• Feeding frenzies and daily bounties - timed windows where fish run heavy, and a new target fish every day.
• Angler's Journal, ranks and titles - collect every fish, rank up from Minnow to Legend of the Deep, and earn titles like King of the Lake or Tournament Champion.
• Fishing tooltips - your personal best and the specimen range on each fish, plus rank and titles on other anglers.
• Catch value - what your haul is worth, using your own auction house prices.
• Fishing tools - lure timer and reminder, one-click lure, fishing pole swap and gear sets.

Getting started

Go fishing - your log starts on the first cast. To compete right now, type /tfl host at your spot; to arrange a fishing tournament for later, post it with /tfl board. Type /tfl for every command.

Compatibility

Built for World of Warcraft: Forever (Classic+). It runs happily alongside other fishing addons such as Fishing Buddy, Angleur and CFC, and reads auction prices from Auctionator or TSM when you have them. No other addons are required.

FAQ

Do other players need the addon?
Only to compete. Your fishing log, journal and ranks work on your own.

Are the fish weights real?
No - WoW has no fish weights, so the addon assigns them, using the same rules for every player.

Does my progress save?
Yes. The Forever beta doesn't reload addon data, so your rank, journal and records are kept in account macros named "TFL Save". Please don't delete them.

Is the catch value real gold?
No - it's an estimate of what your fish would sell for, from your own Auctionator or TSM prices (or vendor prices). It's only for your own log; matches and records never use it.
