ThadXP

Track XP per pull, preview quest rewards, and plan training and town trips while leveling.

Know what each pull earns—and what gets you to the next level.

ThadXP is a compact leveling companion: track XP and mobs per pull, understand your session's pace, preview quest rewards, and see what needs attention before your next trip out of town.

From one mage's AoE pulls to a leveling companion

ThadXP started while I was leveling a mage in TBC Anniversary. I wanted two things: how much XP a pull earned, and how many mobs I killed. That small idea grew into a tool for the decisions around leveling—whether your quest turn-ins will finish a level, what you can train, and what to sort out in town.

It works for every class. The aim is to make your progress easier to understand without filling your screen with another complicated dashboard.

Your progress at a glance

  • XP per pull: earned XP, tracked mobs, duration and percentage of a level gained. Open a pull for its breakdown.
  • Leveling pace: session XP, XP/hour and estimated time to your next level.
  • Optional tracker rows: enable Last pull and Session independently in settings. Session includes quest XP and progress across level-ups.
  • Rested XP: a blue overlay on the same XP bar, with the remaining bonus and its percentage of a full level in the tooltip.

Quests: ready now or planned for later

See the XP waiting in completed quests, or select quests individually and by zone or dungeon to plan a batch of rewards. Preview Ready or Plan XP on the tracker, inspect quest-by-quest rewards, and see your estimated progress after turn-ins.

Search the list, filter selected quests, and see turn-in instructions when available. Quest estimates use your current level; unknown rewards are excluded and labeled.

Training and town trips

  • Class training: search spells, see what's available now and at your next training level, inspect requirements and estimated costs, and ignore spells you don't want reminders for.
  • Town checklist: prioritize low durability, bag space, training and profession skills approaching their cap. Expand professions for next-rank requirements and example learning locations.
  • Optional town note: a small checklist in resting areas, with tasks checking off as you complete them.
  • Mail and Hearthstone: inspect available inbox information and your Hearthstone destination and cooldown.

Session history, loot and sharing

Review saved pulls with location search, current-level filtering and sorting. Session Overview includes your XP, pace, goals and searchable session loot.

Right-click Last pull or Session to share a report to Party, Guild, Raid, Instance or Say. Other channel opens a draft for whispers, officer chat, yell or a joined channel. Reports include XP/hour and are shared only when you choose to send them.

Getting started

Install ThadXP, then type /txp to open the tracker. Details opens Session, Quests, Training and Town; Settings is inside that window. Enable Show last pull on tracker and Show session summary on tracker if you want those rows.

For a manual installation, extract the ThadXP folder into your game's Interface/AddOns folder, then restart the client or use /reload after replacing an existing copy. Enable ThadXP in the AddOn List.

Compatibility and expectations

Developed for TBC Classic Anniversary and Forever beta, with client-specific data and behavior in one package. Forever's beta data and APIs can change; use a manual installation if your client is not recognized by the CurseForge app. Game-version labels on each uploaded file identify the versions available in CurseForge's selector.

Training prices are estimates. Quest rewards and profession guidance depend on available client data. On Forever, mob counts come from XP-granting kill messages, so they do not count every enemy in an encounter. ThadXP is not a damage meter and does not provide an automated leveling route.
