What's new
TGXG Interrupt 1.7.5
NEW: THE CAST BAR NOW SHOWS WHETHER A CAST CAN BE STOPPED
A halo around Blizzard's target and focus cast bars answers the one
question that matters mid-pull:
- Green: provably interruptible. Either the game says so, or the spell
database recognises the cast from an interrupt it has seen land. A
spell learned once glows green from then on, including in content
where the game hides that information
- Red: do not count on it. Covers both casts flagged immune and casts
whose flag is hidden with nothing having taught us otherwise yet
Fixed alongside it: the database had stopped learning from readable
flags when the cast bars became a manager for Blizzard's own bars in
1.0.3. That half of the learning is back, so running a dungeon once on
normal or heroic now teaches the addon its casts for the later key.
NEW: REDESIGNED SETTINGS WINDOW
Laid out like a small desktop app: a dark shell with an icon sidebar on
the left and one clean page per topic - Tracker, Cast bars, Alerts,
Assignment, Kick icon, Sound, Compatible, About. No more scrolling past
everything to reach a single option. The expert switch moved into the
header, where it belongs.
NEW: UNLOCK EVERYTHING WITH ONE CLICK
A block at the top of the movable pages with two buttons, UNLOCK ALL
BARS and LOCK ALL, plus a line telling you which state you are in. It
covers the tracker, both cast bars, the kick icon and the kick alert at
once. While anything is loose, a banner says so and offers a Lock
button. The same switch sits in the header, on the minimap button's
right click and behind /tgxg unlock and /tgxg lock.
The kick alert can be placed for the first time. It only ever appears
for the second a cast is running, so it could never be dragged when it
mattered; a stand-in of the same size now stands in while the UI is
unlocked, and it moves on both axes instead of only up and down.
NEW: ASSIGNMENTS CAN BE READ OUT OF GROUP CHAT
Not everyone runs this addon, so group chat is used as common ground. A
chat line containing a raid marker is now picked up: naming a group
member gives that player the marker, naming nobody counts as the sender
claiming it ("my interrupt target is {rt4}"). Understands {rt4},
{skull}, the localized names and pre-rendered icons, and only accepts
names of players actually in your group, so ordinary conversation
cannot trigger it. Your own marker can optionally be posted to chat as
well, so players without the addon can read it.
CHANGED
- Test mode labels its rows with the class instead of an invented
character name: Rogue, Mage, Druid, Paladin, Shaman. The wording comes
from the game, so a German client reads Schurke and Magier
FIXED
- Unlocking stopped responding after a few rounds of unlock and lock.
Move mode was tracked in a flag of its own that could drift out of
step with the actual locks, one of the two buttons was greyed out at
any time, and clicking a button rebuilt the page it was sitting on,
destroying the button mid-click. Move mode is now derived from the
locks and cannot drift, both buttons stay clickable, and the block
updates itself in place
- A drag still in progress is released whenever the locks flip, so a
frame hidden mid-drag can no longer stay glued to the cursor
- UNLOCK ALL BARS did not reliably make everything movable. An empty
tracker collapses to a one-pixel strip, and with "hide while solo" it
was not on screen at all, so there was nothing to grab. In move mode
the tracker now always shows, keeps a full bar's height and carries a
labelled drag surface
- "Move mode active" greeted you on every login, because the banner was
derived from the individual locks and the tracker has shipped unlocked
by default since 1.0. Every session now starts locked
- The X in the top right did not close the settings window, leaving ESC
as the only way out. Blizzard's close button always acts on whatever
it is attached to, and it belonged to the header strip rather than the
window
- The assignment printed into your own chat frame showed "{rt4}" as
plain text instead of the marker. Messages sent to the group and text
a client prints for itself need different forms of the icon, and both
are now used in the right place
- Test mode filled no marker column, because the assignment only ever
considered real group members
- Chat assignments also understand {raute} as a name for the diamond
