12.1.0
What's new
v12.1.0
- Added support for Blizzard's new 12.1 aura system via a new "Buff/Debuff (combat allowed)" icon type.
- The existing Buff/Debuff icon type has been renamed to "...(combat restricted)" and no longer functions in combat under any circumstances due to new restrictions.
- Cooldown Manager is not needed or used to provide data to these new icons.
- These new icons have a few limitations:
- Only one unit can be checked
- Spell filters can only filter buffs on friendly units, and debuffs on enemies. Spells that Blizzard flags as never secret are exempt and can be filtered on any unit.
- Currently, only spell IDs (not spell names) can be filtered for.
- There is no "Absent" state - an aura that isn't active has nothing to draw. An "Underlay" opacity stands in for it, drawing the icon beneath the auras so that it shows wherever there is no aura.
- tullaCTC is not yet able to style the cooldown swipes on these icons.
- Added a "Show tooltips on mouseover" global setting (#2439). When enabled, hovering an icon shows the tooltip of the spell, item, or aura it is currently showing. A companion setting suppresses the tooltips in combat.
- Added a "Show activation border" setting to Cooldown and Reactive Ability icons (#2268, #2456). When checked, the icon draws Blizzard's spell activation border whenever the spell it is tracking has one on your action bars, without needing a notification and condition per icon.
- The deprecated Edit Mode setting to hide Blizzard Cooldown Manager viewers per edit mode layout has been fully removed. The per-group setting remains.
- Default text layouts for horizontal and vertical bar groups now show stack text in a separate display.
- Fix totem.lua:159: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'start' (a secret number value)
- Fix #2457 - Floating Combat Text notifications stopped working after Blizzard rewrote Blizzard_CombatText (retail 12.0, Classic 2.5.6).
