TBCGuide

The arrow now leads you back to your corpse after you die.

Install

1. Download TBCGuide-0.9.5.zip below.
2. Close World of Warcraft, delete your old Interface\AddOns\TBCGuide folder, and extract the zip into Interface\AddOns. The zip already contains the TBCGuide folder.
3. Start the game. Your guide progress, settings and profiles are kept.

Pre-release: the corpse waypoint has not been run in the game client yet. It passes every offline check, including 4,408 headless tests under a real Lua 5.1 interpreter. Please report anything odd.

Automatically Navigate to Corpse

After you release your spirit, the arrow points at your corpse ("Corpse 120 yd") until you are alive again. Then it goes back to the current guide step or hunting route, worked out afresh, so a step you completed while dead is taken into account.

• Navigation only: it never releases, resurrects or talks to a spirit healer.
• The game's own position: it uses the game's corpse position. No position means no arrow, never a guessed one.
• Instances: dying inside a dungeon, raid or battleground gives no outdoor position, so you get a note instead of an arrow.
• Controls:
  • /tbcg corpse off hands the arrow back to the guide; /tbcg corpse on brings it back.
  • A waypoint you set yourself also replaces it.
  • Turn it off under Settings → General.
• Also fixed: standing on your corpse or a hunting route point no longer completes a "go to" step.
