# TBC Simple Guide

TBC Simple Guide provides quick, readable boss and trash information for Black Temple and Mount Hyjal in WoW TBC Anniversary.

It is designed to remain open while playing, giving your raid important mechanics without requiring you to read a full strategy guide during the encounter.

## How to use

Type:

`/tbcguide`

This opens or closes the guide.

When **Follow target** is enabled, targeting a supported boss or trash mob automatically displays its abilities and recommended response.

Click **Full** to open the complete browser. Use the **All**, **Bosses**, and **Trash** filters or enter a name in the search field. Click **Select boss or mob** along the bottom to choose an entry.

Click **TL;DR** to return to the smaller combat-friendly window.

Drag the window while it says **Unlocked**, then click the button to lock it in position.

## Commands

- `/tbcguide` — Open or close the guide
- `/tbcguide target` — Show your current target
- `/tbcguide compact` — Open compact TL;DR mode
- `/tbcguide full` — Open the complete browser
- `/tbcguide boss` — Browse bosses
- `/tbcguide trash` — Browse trash
- `/tbcguide all` — Browse every entry
- `/tbcguide lock` — Lock the window
- `/tbcguide unlock` — Unlock the window
- `/tbcguide reset` — Reset its position
- `/tbcguide hide` — Close the window

## Notes

Automatic target matching currently uses English NPC names. The guide is a quick reference; your raid leader’s assignments and calls should always take priority.

Each player who wants to use the guide must install the addon.
