Tanking in TBC means split-second reactions to taunt resists, missed swings, and threat emergencies — but your healers and DPS can't see any of it. TankAnnounce automatically broadcasts your critical tank events in chat so the whole group stays informed without you typing a word.
Supports all three TBC tank classes: Warrior, Druid, and Paladin.
Taunt Announcements — Announces successful taunts and taunt resists for all tank abilities: Taunt, Growl, Righteous Defense, Challenging Shout, and Mocking Blow.
Taunt Resist Alerts — When a taunt is resisted, TankAnnounce plays a raid warning sound and always announces in /say for maximum visibility, regardless of your configured channel. Your group will never miss a resist.
Combat Miss Tracking — Announces when your melee swings miss, get parried, or get dodged, giving healers and offtanks early warning on threat gaps.
Emote Mode — Toggle between standard formatted messages and natural prose (e.g. "taunts Onyxia.") for a cleaner chat feel.
Instance Only Mode — Restrict announcements to dungeons and raids only, keeping world chat clean. Enabled by default.
Fully Configurable — Toggle each announcement type individually, choose your output channel (Say, Yell, Party, Raid, Raid Warning), and manage everything through the built-in Settings panel.
