TallyLoot
EPGP loot tracking for World of Warcraft guilds, built for Midnight (12.1+).
A smaller, friendlier alternative to Classic Loot Manager: one roster per guild, a four-step setup, EP that awards itself, and only two windows. The Drops window is the raid night. The console (/tl) is for setting up the team and reading the history. Nothing else pops up.
Type /tl in game to open it.
Why TallyLoot
- No timers to set. Every drop opens the moment the game's own roll window does. A line closes when everyone present has answered, or at the roll's last eight seconds. Closing only stops the voting. The Loot Manager awards.
- The card tells you whether to bid. Each item shows your item-level gain, whether it is a stat fit for your spec, a socket gained or lost, the four secondaries in the order your spec wants them with every delta in green or red, the item it would replace, and the EP / GP / PR you would have after Main Spec, Off Spec or Pass.
- EP awards itself. On time, every N minutes, per boss kill scaled by difficulty, a first-kill bonus, back on time after a break, and at raid end. Decay runs once a day at a fixed hour.
- A bid is not an amount. The cost is fixed by the item and published in advance. You only choose Main Spec, Off Spec or Pass.
- Ties are never "who clicked first". Equal PR at the top is settled by the game roll both players already made, or by a
/rollthe addon asks the tied players for. - Every award can be undone. Right-click an awaiting-trade row and the GP comes back, the wrong winner and the holder are whispered, and the line reopens with its leader. History keeps the mistake.
- Nobody is required to install it. Raiders without the addon whisper
ms,osorpass, or say it in raid chat. Pugs have no PR, so they compete by rolling, and voting Main or Off rolls for you automatically while one is present. - One ledger, same numbers everywhere. Every change is an immutable entry, replicated to the guild over addon messages. Only officers' entries are accepted. Standings are computed by replaying the ledger, so two clients with the same entries show the same numbers, and the Sync section can say exactly who is missing what.
A raid night
- The Drops window opens by itself on every boss. The Loot Manager gets a strip of controls along the top: Invite raiders → Start raid → Break… → Announce rules → +EP to raid… → End raid. A backup Loot Manager sees a single Take over button that lights up, with the reason, if the Loot Manager goes offline, leaves, goes AFK, or leaves a closed line unawarded.
- The header shows the boss and its whole loot table. Below it, one card per item on a translucent glass surface. Everybody sees the same cards. Click any card to open the bidders under it: every Main Spec and Off Spec bidder by PR with their gains and stat changes, a pug's game roll, and who has not answered yet.
- Until an officer locks a line, the Standing column shows a live, greyed prediction, and each line below the top is ranked as if the lines above it had already been awarded. One high-PR raider never appears to win the whole boss.
- The Loot Manager awards from the row: Award to the leader, or right-click for Award to…, Reopen voting, Remove, Set holder, Set cost, Link in chat. The award is the only thing that charges GP.
- When a line locks, the holder gets a raid target marker and the winner a whisper naming them. Walk over and the trade window opens on its own. The award stays in the window, holder outlined gold, until the trade lands. Then it greys out and joins the lockout's history, so someone who joins on the second night sees what dropped on the first and who won it.
Mounts, pets, recipes and toys are roll-offs: never priced, never auto-passed. Their card has Need, Greed and Pass that roll in the game for you.
The console
- Standings. EP, GP and PR for every member, shown as the math (
550 / 0 = 5.50). Who is in the raid, who was last online, addon version, trust, bags, spec, Mythic+ score in Raider.IO colours, attendance and loot won. PvP pieces and missing gear are flagged. Right-click a name to associate alts under a main or show their history. - Item Values. The whole raid's price list with real difficulty-scaled item levels from the Adventure Guide, an Upgrade column for you and your alts, and the calculation on hover. Opens on the raid you are in and marks this week's dead bosses.
- History. Every entry with one-click Undo, filtered by person.
/tl export 90copies the last 90 days of points, loot and bids as CSV for a spreadsheet. - Setup (officers). Roles, rules, sync status, the setup wizard, and import from Classic Loot Manager.
- Simulator. A sandboxed copy of your guild with fake raiders and the current raid's real bosses, so you can rehearse a whole night at the bank.
/tl viewas raidershows an officer exactly what a raider sees.
The points
PR = EP / (baseGP + GP). Winning an item adds its GP cost, which lowers your PR, which is what keeps loot rotating. Item prices come from slot and item level, rise with the number of specs that can use the item, and are published to the whole guild before anything drops.
Getting started
- Install the addon on every raider's client. New addons only appear after a full client restart, not after
/reload. - Type
/tland run the setup wizard (officers only). - The GM appoints the Loot Manager with
/tl lm set <name>. The Loot Manager appoints a backup with/tl lm backup <name>. - Raid. The Drops window does the rest.
Everyone in the guild must run the same major version. Members without the addon can still bid by whisper, and can ask any officer !pr, !standings, !loot or !want at any time.
