TalentGuide

TalentGuide is a TBC Classic Anniversary addon that attaches a step-by-step talent guide directly alongside your talent panel. Instead of alt-tabbing to a browser while leveling, you get a clean, always-visible list telling you exactly which talent to take next, in order, from level 10 to 70.

Features

• Attaches automatically to the talent panel whenever you open it — no slash command needed
• Covers all 9 classes and all 27 specialisations
• Talent steps sourced from Icy Veins TBC Classic leveling guides
• Auto-tracks your learned talents using GetTalentInfo() — completed steps tick green automatically
• Split-step support for talents taken in stages (e.g. "take 2 now, finish later")
• Live point display on every row — shows your current rank vs the target (e.g. Toughness (3/5))
• Hover any row for a tooltip explaining why that talent is taken at that point
• Hover any spec button for a tooltip showing role, solo viability, strengths and notes
• Primary tree and off-tree sections clearly labelled and colour coded
• Progress counter at the bottom (e.g. Progress: 12 / 22)
• Per-character, per-spec progress saved across sessions
• Reset Progress button to start fresh on any spec
• /tg to toggle the panel manually
• /tgdebug to print your current talent cache (useful if auto-tracking is behaving unexpectedly)

Talent data

All builds are sourced directly from the Icy Veins TBC Classic leveling guides and verified for correct talent tier unlock requirements. Each spec includes the recommended primary tree path and any off-tree points taken toward the end of leveling, ordered by level. All off-tree talents are verified to respect the 5-points-per-tier unlock rules — you will never be told to take a talent you cannot yet access.

• Compatible with TBC Classic Anniversary (Interface 20504)
• Lightweight — no libraries, no dependencies
• Talent auto-tracking works best after spending at least one point; use /tgdebug to confirm your talent names are being read correctly if steps are not ticking
