Talebound

Talebound is a standalone top-down action arcade minigame built directly inside World of Warcraft! Battle through multi-wave dungeons, dodge aggressive enemy spawns, deploy tactical traps, and defeat bosses—all using smooth keyboard controls and a progression hub.

Key Features

• WASD Arcade Movement: Smooth 2D directional movement with active collision and customizable speed bonuses.

• 3 Unique Classes & 21 Abilities:

  • Slayer: Close-range blade spreads, high-velocity rifle shots, shrapnel grenades, and deployable proximity mine traps.

  • Inquisitor: Holy light projectiles, searing laser beams, rupture novas, and screen-wide divine wrath explosions.

  • Witch: Nature bolts, thorn fans, flying bird strikes, spider swarms, and deployable automated Cauldron Turrets.

• Ground Traps & Turrets: Place stationary mines that detonate on contact or deploy cauldrons that shoot auto-targeting toxic sludge at nearby enemies.

• 3 Scaling Difficulty Modes:

  • Veteran: Casual 5-wave dungeons with standard enemy health.

  • Heroic: 7 waves with faster, 2.5x health enemies and increased mob density.

  • Mythic: Nightmare 10-wave dungeons featuring 6x health mobs, aggressive speed, and mid-wave Elites.

• Hub Progression & Vendor Shops: Earn Ducats, Tales, Alkahest, and Relics from dungeon boss drops to purchase permanent stat upgrades, damage boosts, and move speed bonuses in Quillgrave Hub.

• Run Unlocks: Earn completed dungeon runs to unlock higher-tier abilities on your hotbar (Abilities 2 through 7).

How to Play

1. Open or close the minigame window by typing /tb or /talebound in chat.

2. Use WASD to move your hero token around the arena floor.

3. Press 1 through 7 on your keyboard to cast abilities.

4. Defeat all waves in a dungeon zone (Darkhaven, Greenthistle, Greywake, or NightCourt) to clear the run and claim your rewards!
