Description
Tacktic is a WoW mod used for the marking of enemy and friendly targets via nameplates. You can use Tacktic as a solo player, in a party, or as a raid group. Any members of your group also using Tacktic will see the same marks above targets, thus allowing teams to quickly communicate what targets are designated for what actions, roles, etc.
I also highly recommend Tidy Plates in combination with this mod, as the floating healthbars on nameplates can get quite annoying without it. In the future, I plan to have an option to disable healthbars, however at this current point in the project, Tidy Plates is the way to go.
If you're interested in downloading, please take a few moments to look over the 'Tacktic README' file included. This will give you a brief description of how the mod works and suggested ways to use it.
If you find any suspected bugs while using Tacktic, please visit the project forums or use the ticket system. As stated in the README file, I cannot guarantee a response to any problems with the mod, however if enough reports suggest the same bug or if I have time to respond, I'll attempt to address each issue when I can.
Thanks for taking the time to visit this page and feel free to post any questions, comments, or suggestions in the project forums below. Enjoy.

- I'm currently aware of a bug in which Tidy Plates has to be installed in order for Tacktic to work.
- Further, it seems that indicators will temporarily vanish from view if you turn away while the target is not your active target. The indicator will reappear if you re-select the target or hover over their nameplate.
- I will be working on a fix for this. No ETC currently.

- Changed the new update from beta to stable. I haven't done extensive bug testing on this version, so please report any bugs you find on the project forums. Thanks and good luck on the battlefield!

- Just finished the changes on Tacktic and it should be fixed and working again in battlegrounds. Further, as a result of the fix, Tacktic should be able to be used on NPCs and mobs without issue now.
- Sorry it took so long to make the changes needed, however - as with most work done for free, time and will power became an issue. Hopefully, this will be useful again. Take care.

- I'm aware of an issue with indicators not appearing on certain targets in battlegrounds. It seems some of the changes done in the recent patch changed how a string appears when it is called for. I'm currently working on the issue, however, I have no estimated time of completion.

- Added a new poll on the project forum, please check it out [Poll Closed]
- Made a small change to the skull indicators. I've changed the Black and Gray skulls to Red and Blue. I think this may help with distinguishing focus targets.

- Nothing significant at this time...

Hidden Health Bars
Posted: Nov 24, 2012
- As much as I recommend using Tidy Plates, I also realize that some players may not be using it in conjunction with Tacktic, thus I am looking to add an option to remove the default clunky health bars from the UI.
