v0.16.0
What's new
# Symposium
## 0.16.0
- "Qui pose quoi" small window: a compact frame that stays on screen, like a WeakAura,
with one line per task: the spell icon and the name of the player who casts it. Hover
a line for the full task. It updates when the group changes.
- It opens by itself when you join a group or a raid. "Options" in its header: show it
"En groupe et en raid", "En raid seulement" or "Seulement avec /symposium suivi", and
lock its position. × closes it until you leave the group; `/symposium suivi` opens or
closes it at any time.
- "–" reduces it to your own tasks, "+" shows the whole group again
(`/symposium suivi moi`, `/symposium suivi tous`).
- Change the split in game: click one of your lines. A paladin picks the blessing they
cast ("Je pose la bénédiction des rois"…), the other paladins share the rest. Any
player can swap places with another player of the same class ("Échanger avec …"), and
"Répartition automatique" goes back to the default. The raid leader can change anyone's
line. Changes are shared with every player of the group who has the addon, including
players who join later, and are reset when you leave the group.
- Also in the "Qui pose quoi" window: "Petite fenêtre" button.
- "Qui pose quoi" follows the WoW: Forever beta changes:
- Salvation is no longer a blessing: paladins give Kings, Might and Wisdom, and one
paladin casts "Salut collectif" (Mass Salvation) on every class with DPS or healers,
then "Révoquer" (Revoke) on the tanks of those classes. Paladins can swap places to
choose who does it.
- Totems reach the whole raid: the first shaman drops Strength of Earth, then each
shaman one air totem, Windfury first when the raid has melee, then Grace of Air.
- One hunter is reminded of Trueshot Aura, now raid-wide.
- The character export now carries what the guild site needs to simulate your character
with wowsims (the "Simulation" page): each talent's definition and its actual rank, ranks
granted without spending a point included, the same way WowSimsExporter reads them.
Re-export your character once after updating so the simulation uses your exact talents.
## 0.15.0
- "Qui pose quoi" (`/symposium buffs`, or the button on the main page): who casts which
blessing, curse, group buff and debuff in your current group or raid, split between the
players of each class so nothing is cast twice (two paladins: one gives Kings, the
other Might or Wisdom, class by class). Every player with the addon sees the same
split. "Annoncer au groupe" posts it in the raid or party chat. Set your tanks as
main tanks in the raid so they get Thorns and no Salvation.
- Guild bank: the addon now sends the type of each item in the log, so the "Coffre"
page on the guild site only shows raid consumables (flasks, elixirs, potions, food,
herbs, cooking ingredients, oils and stones, engineering items).
## 0.14.0
- Guild bank: when you open the guild bank, the addon reads its log (items and gold
deposited or withdrawn, for each tab your rank can see) and sends it with your
character. The new "Coffre" page on the guild site shows who deposited what.
## 0.13.0
- Crafts for the guild are now chosen on the guild site: the addon sends every recipe
you know with your character (except bind-on-pickup items), and you tick the ones you
offer, and who brings the components, on the Artisans page ("Mes crafts"). Open each
profession window once so the addon can read your recipes.
- The "Crafts pour la guilde" window and buttons are gone. `/symposium crafts` lists the
recipes the addon has read for each profession.
## 0.12.1
- Crafts for the guild: the number of items made per craft (arrows, bullets, bombs...)
is sent with your crafts, so the order calculator on the Artisans page counts the right
number of crafts and components.
- Crafts for the guild: recipes that make a bind-on-pickup item are greyed out with
"Lié quand ramassé" and can no longer be ticked, since only the crafter could use the
item. Recipes already ticked are removed from your offers.
## 0.12.0
- Crafts for the guild: tick the recipes you offer to the guild, and say who brings the
components ("Compos à fournir", "Compos offertes" or "À voir ensemble"). Open each
profession window once so the addon can read the recipes you know, then use the
"Crafts pour la guilde" button above the profession window or in the Symposium window.
- Your crafts are sent to the guild site with your character. The Artisans page lists
them, and the guild Discord shows them in the artisans forum, one thread per character,
updated on each export.
## 0.11.0
- Automatic combat log: with the Symposium desktop app, the combat log starts when
you enter a dungeon or a raid and stops when you leave (only a log the addon
started is stopped). The app sends each boss fight to the guild site.
`/symposium journal` turns it on or off (also for players without the app).
- Tip shown once if "Advanced Combat Logging" is off (Options > Network).
- EPGP standings without copy-paste: the Symposium desktop app fetches them from the
guild site, and the addon loads them at login or /reload (only if newer than the
standings it already has). Every player with the app sees their own points.
- Raid consumables: while a raid is being recorded, the raid leader's addon notes
everyone's flasks, elixirs, food and world buffs at the start of each boss fight
(wipes included). Players without the addon are covered too. The guild site shows
who was ready for each fight.
- Ready check: during a recorded raid, the raid leader and assistants see who has no
food, and who has neither elixir nor flask (only shown to them).
- Master loot: when a player cannot receive an item, the addon now says why (only
players in the group when the boss died can receive its loot), lists who can, and
suggests inviting the disenchanter before the pull.
- Player names with an accented first letter now match whatever their case.
## 0.10.1
- Fix: the automatic export no longer runs while logging out, when the game has
already unloaded your character (it produced an empty character sheet). Your
character is exported at login and after each change instead.
- An export with no gear and no stats is never saved.
## 0.10.0
- Automatic export: no more `/symposium` needed. Your character is exported
silently when you log out or `/reload`, and after each change (gear, level,
talents, professions). With the Symposium desktop app, your character sheet on
the site updates on its own when you leave the game.
- An unchanged character is not exported again.
- `/symposium auto` turns the automatic export off (or back on).
## 0.9.1
- Character export: active temporary buffs are recorded. The export window
warns you that your stats include them, and your character sheet on the site
shows it too. Remove them (right-click their icon) and export again for
accurate stats.
## 0.9.0
- Raid loot recap: a window lists who received what during the raid, with the
spec and GP of each item ("Butin du raid" button in the Symposium window).
- The master looter can check which group members have the addon, and who
needs to update it.
## 0.8.0
- Your EPGP standing in game: once the master looter has loaded the standings,
you see your EP, GP, priority and rank when hovering the minimap button, on
the "Mon personnage" page and in the vote window. It updates after every boss
and every item handed out.
## 0.7.1
- Voting goes on if the master looter closes the corpse: votes are kept until
it is opened again.
- The raid record and the standings survive a /reload or a disconnect of the
master looter.
## 0.7.0
- Loot voting in the addon: when the master looter announces an item, a window
opens with the item and three choices, Need (+), Greed (-) or Pass ("Besoin",
"Cupidité", "Passer" in game). No more whispering.
- 30 seconds to vote, with a progress bar.
## 0.6.6
- Raid points are updated boss by boss: everyone's priority accounts for the
items already received during the evening.
## 0.6.5
- Master looter tools: choose the disenchanter.
## 0.6.4
- More reliable player names in the raid record.
## 0.6.3
- Loot announcements are shown in the middle of the screen (raid warning),
with a time limit to put yourself forward.
## 0.6.2
- GP cost shown with a minimum per quality (rare, epic).
## 0.6.1
- The minimap button sits on the outer edge, like other addons' buttons, and
can be dragged all around it.
## 0.6.0
- New interface, in the style of the guild's addons: tabbed window, your
character's sheet, one-click export.
- Right-click the minimap button for a direct export.
## 0.5.1
- Minimap button and Symposium window: export your character in one click.
