Added
ACE3 IS REQ. IN THE ADDONS FOLDER
- **Customizable Features**: You can now toggle SYAM’s features on or off from a new
settings
menu under the Blizzard Interface Options panel. This makes the addon more flexible to
suit your personal preferences.
Available options include:
Hide Objective Tracker: Completely hide the Objectives Tracker for a cleaner screen.
Suppress Talking Head UI: Instantly close and disable the Talking Head pop-ups that appear during quests.
Mute NPC Voice-Overs: Turn off voice dialogue from NPCs during interactions.
Mute Talking Head Announcer: Temporarily mute the audio associated with Talking Head events. This option requires the Talking Head UI suppression to be enabled.
Debug Frame: Added a special debug window for tracking what SYAM is doing in real- time. This can help identify issues or simply show what’s happening behind the scenes. This feature can also be turned on or off in the settings.
Changed
Improved Compatibility: The addon now better supports upcoming World of Warcraft expansions, ensuring SYAM continues to function as Blizzard updates the game.
More Reliable Suppression: Enhanced the way SYAM suppresses quest trackers, Talking Heads, and audio, adding fail-safes to ensure they stay hidden or muted when you want them to.
Fixed
- Minor bugs and inconsistencies in suppression logic have been resolved to provide a smoother experience.
Planned (for version 1.2 or later):
- Magni Bronzebeard "Chillpill" Feature:
- Mute Dialogue: Suppresses Magni's voiceovers during interactions.
- Disable World Quest Popups: Prevents Magni's Talking Head UI from appearing during related world quests.
- Perfect for players who need a little less "FORGE YOUR HEART!" in their gameplay.
A Note from the Developer
As a solo developer, I’ve done my best to test SYAM thoroughly, but I might have missed something. If you encounter any bugs or issues, please report them so I can address them in future updates. Your feedback is invaluable and greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting SYAM!
