Survivor's Burden - Needs-Based Immersion Addon for Roleplayers
An immersion addon that tracks your character's basic survival needs.
Originally created and maintained for use within a roleplay guild, this addon was designed to bring more depth and realism to everyday RP. I've decided to share it publicly in case others find it useful for enhancing their own roleplay experience.
These stats naturally decrease over time, with movement or after frequent emotes. You can manage or restore them through simple slash commands. The addon is designed to be customizable and unobtrusive for RP use.
Features
- Tracks Hunger, Thirst, Fatigue, Hygiene and optional Bladder.
- Stat drain occurs from:
- Time-based decay. (passive over time)
- Movement-based decay. (walking, running, traveling)
- Emote-based decay. (triggered by repeated RP emotes)
- Optional penalties from equipped armor and weapons.
- Clean status UI with adjustable scale and optional minimap button.
- Config panel with full control over each feature.
- Slash commands to manage and restore needs. (
/sb eat,/sb drink, etc.) - Toggleable chat alerts and /emote broadcasts when needs drop.
- Optional sound effects, including race- and gender-specific lines.
- Each system can be individually enabled or disabled.
