Summon Queue Assist - SQA
What's new
# Summon Queue Assist (SQA) — v1.0.1
## Fresh Public Release
Fresh public release of Summon Queue Assist following a minor summon-target handling fix and a cleaner separation of core addon code from optional data.
## What's New
- **Fixed summon target selection** by changing the SUMMON button to use Blizzard's secure spell action directly on the resolved queued group unit.
- Removed the previous `/cleartarget` / `/target` macro path from the summon button.
- This prevents the player's current target or name-based target resolution from influencing which queued player receives the Ritual of Summoning.
- Added **five built-in fallback messages** for each message category:
- Openings
- Middles
- Endings
- Clickers
- Arrivals
- SQA now works fully as a **standalone addon** using its built-in fallback data.
- Custom messages and nickname data are now provided separately by the optional **SQA Data** companion addon.
- SQA Data overrides the built-in message data when installed; otherwise SQA automatically uses its internal defaults.
## Preserved
- Summon request queue and `123` trigger.
- Party and Raid support with automatic channel selection.
- Ritual of Summoning coordination.
- Clicker request handling.
- Summon acceptance detection.
- Automatic arrival detection and queue removal.
- Existing nickname and message customisation functionality through SQA Data.
## Installation
Install **SQA** for the core addon.
**SQA Data is optional** and provides the extended/custom message and nickname data.
Future SQA updates can be installed independently without overwriting the user's SQA Data customisations.
