Description
I built this because tracking summon requests in a busy raid shouldn't be difficult, but unfortunately it was until now. SummonQueue is a simple, lightweight utility that monitors your chat for 123 and other summon requests, putting them into a tidy, clickable list so you can get the group together and get to the actual game.
What it does
The addon listens to Whispers, Party, Raid, and Instance chat. When someone types a trigger like "123", "sum", or "port", their name is added to a small UI window on your screen.
- If someone spams "123", they only appear once.
- It ignores your own messages.
- It handles server names properly so targeting doesn't break.
How to Use It
The UI is designed to be functional, not just decorative. Here is how you use it:
- Targeting: Click a name in the list. The addon will immediately /target that player for you.
- Summoning: Cast your Ritual of Summoning or Meeting Stone. Since they are already targeted, you're ready to go.
- Clearing: Once the summon is underway or finished, click the 🚫 icon on the right side of the player's name. This removes them from your list and moves the next person to the top.
Commands
- /sq - Toggles the main window if you need to hide or show it manually.
- Draggable Window - Drag the summoning queue window freely across your screen.
- Minimap Button - Drag it anywhere around your minimap.
It’s simple, it’s manual, and it doesn't try to guess what you're doing. You stay in control of the queue, and you don't need to decipher the chat when a full raid is asking for summons.
