Overview

Strix is a lightweight, event-driven mailing assistant for World of Warcraft retail (Midnight 12.0+). It serves as your personal address book, streamlining the process of sending items to your alternate characters (alts) and frequent correspondents.

Features

  • Quick-Select Menu: Click the ▼ dropdown button on the recipient input field, or right-click the field, to open a context menu of your saved characters.
  • Automatic Alt Registration: Simply log in to a character to register it in the "My Alts" list. Records Name, Realm, Faction, Class, Race, and Level.
  • Inbox Promotion: Alts who send you mail are automatically promoted to the top of your alts list.
  • Recent Recipients: Automatically saves non-alt players you send mail to.
  • List Management:
    • My Alts: Drag-and-drop reordering. Delete entries with one click.
    • Recent Recipients: Promote a recent recipient to "My Alts" in one click.
    • Display Limits: Separate sliders control how many alts and recent recipients appear in the menu.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Minimal CPU and memory footprint.
  • Localization: Full English and Simplified Chinese (zhCN) support.

Usage

  1. Register Alts: Log in to each of your characters once.
  2. Send Mail: Open the Mailbox, go to the Send tab, and either click ▼ or right-click the recipient input field to select a character.
  3. Settings: Type /strix or click "Manage List..." in the menu to open the configuration panel.

Install

  1. Download the latest release from GitHub.
  2. Extract into World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\Strix\.
  3. Restart WoW or /reload.

    • 我的小号: 支持拖拽排序，一键删除。
    • 最近收件人: 一键升级为"我的小号"。
    • 显示数量: 可分别设置菜单中小号和最近收件人的显示上限。
  • 事件驱动: 极低的 CPU 与内存占用。

使用方法

  1. 注册小号: 逐一登录需要记录的角色。
  2. 发送邮件: 打开邮箱，切换到发件标签页，点击收件人输入框右侧 ▼ 或右键点击输入框选择角色。
  3. 设置: 输入 /strix 或点击菜单中的"管理列表..."打开配置面板。

安装

  1. 从 GitHub 下载最新版本。
  2. 解压至 World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\Strix\。
  3. 重启游戏或 /reload。
