📖 Storekeeper: Catalogue v0.1.8 - Much Faster Loading & a Version Badge Box
Catalogues now load in seconds instead of minutes, and the version tag has a home of its own under the TRP3 tooltip.
✨ New
- Reopening a catalogue you've seen before is instant when the shop hasn't changed anything.
- Background and description changes reach nearby customers with your catalogue saved within seconds.
- With Storekeeper 1.7.2 or later, the Catalogue version joins Storekeeper's badge box under the TRP3 tooltip, on the same line.
- Without Storekeeper 1.7.2, the Catalogue shows the same small box with only its own version.
🔄️ Changed
- Catalogues are sent straight to the customer who asked, the way TRP3 sends profiles, and are packed about 25% smaller. If that doesn't arrive, the shared channel is used as before.
- The combined "Storekeeper & Catalogue" tooltip line is gone. Each addon shows its own version.
- A player's Catalogue version stays on their tooltip for the whole session and appears without hovering again.
- Shop owners and customers should both update for the faster loading.
🔧Fixed
- Catalogues could take a minute or more to load, because every catalogue had to squeeze through the shared channel at about one message per second.
- Zoning or targeting someone made nearby shops resend their whole catalogue, clogging the channel.
- Two shops answering at once could mix their data.
- A saved catalogue could stop asking for its products if only the background and description had arrived.
- Half-received transfers were never cleaned up.
- The TRP3 tooltip version tag could vanish or flicker.
- A player's Catalogue version dropped off their tooltip after two minutes or a zone change.
