Storekeeper: Catalogue 0.1.7 - Faster loading & saved catalogues
Catalogues load much faster, and every catalogue you view is now saved so you can reopen it anytime. Checked against the latest Storekeeper.
New
- Saved catalogues. Every catalogue you view is now kept between sessions. A new Saved Catalogues button on the target panel, next to View and Edit, opens a list of the shops you have seen so you can reopen any of them instantly, even with nobody from that shop nearby. Each entry has an X to remove it, and the list can also be opened with /skcat.
- Saved copies refresh on their own. When a staff member of a saved shop is nearby and their catalogue has changed, the saved copy updates quietly in the background, with no polling.
Fixed
- Catalogues load much faster. Product data was sent at a fixed one chunk per second, so a larger catalogue stayed on "Receiving product data..." for a long time regardless of its size. It now sends as fast as the client accepts it and only eases off when the client signals its send-rate limit, and a rejected chunk is retried rather than dropped. The shop owner and the viewer both need 0.1.7.
This update does not change your saved data. Shops, catalogues and settings carry over untouched.
