# RCLootCouncil Dibs

Make guild loot decisions clear, consistent, and auditable.

RCLootCouncil Dibs is a flexible World of Warcraft Retail addon for managing guild loot priorities through a seasonal Dibs system. It works as a standalone addon or alongside RCLootCouncil.

## Permissions and Security

Guild Master and verified Officers control Dibs settings, seasons, rank allocations, manual grants, removals, refunds, and corrections.

RCLootCouncil remains responsible for its own loot session and award permissions. The Master Looter may finalize a qualifying DIB award through the verified integration, but cannot modify Dibs settings or arbitrarily add or remove Dibs.

Raid Leader, Raid Assistant, Council membership, or a claimed role in a message do not grant Dibs administration rights.

## Dibs Workflow

1. Officers configure the season and rank allocations.
2. Players create a Pre-Dib or use a Dib during a loot session.
3. RCLootCouncil handles the loot vote and award.
4. A verified finalized DIB award consumes the configured amount.
5. The transaction is recorded in the Dibs audit history.

Dibs are not DKP. Boss kills do not automatically grant Dibs, and ordinary loot does not consume them.

## Installation

### Standalone

Install `RCLootCouncil_dibs` to manage guild Dibs without RCLootCouncil.

### RCLootCouncil Integration

Install both addons. RCLootCouncil continues to manage loot sessions while RCLootCouncil Dibs manages guild priority, Pre-Dibs, accounting, and audit history.
