Stealth Plus

See yourself, and know when you can vanish again.

Stealth Plus highlights your own character while you're stealthed. It also counts down until each of your stealth abilities, spells and items is ready again, with an optional sound or spoken alert. When you leave stealth, your normal settings come back automatically.

Works with every kind of stealth

Each one can be switched on or off. This list also decides what the countdown and alerts track.

• Stealth (Rogue, all ranks)
• Vanish (Rogue)
• Prowl (Druid)
• Shadowmeld (Night Elf, any class)
• Invisibility: Lesser Invisibility Potion and Invisibility Potion
• Cloaking devices: Gnomish Cloaking Device (Engineering)
• Other stealth: anything else the game counts as stealth

Effects while stealthed

Each effect can be switched on or off:

• Self highlight: a circle under you, an outline around your character, or an icon above you, in any combination
• Silhouette behind walls: your character stays visible when walls or trees are in front of it

The self outline uses the game's Outline Mode. If yours is Off, Stealth Plus turns it on only while you're stealthed, so your target and mouse-over get outlines during that time too.

Re-stealth countdown

• One line per ability, potion or item on cooldown, with its icon, name and time left, soonest first. Only things your character knows or carries are shown.
• Show or hide the icons and the names
• Option to show only the one ready soonest
• Decimals for the last seconds (e.g. 4.2)
• Hides while you're stealthed (optional)
• Grow down, up, left or right
• Unlock and drag it, or place it exactly with left/right and up/down sliders, each with a box to type a value
• Or have it follow your mouse cursor at a distance you choose
• Names and countdown are styled separately: font, size, outline and color for each, with one-click class colors
• Test button shows a sample for 10 seconds

Ready alerts

When a stealth ability, potion or item comes off cooldown:

• Sound:
  • Built-in sounds (Cow moo, Cat meow, Sheep, Goat, Rooster, Bike horn, Ka-ching, Phone, Water drop, Robot blip, Tada), the raid warning sound, or silence
  • Every sound in the game, plus any sound your other addons share (LibSharedMedia)
  • Play and Stop buttons, and picking a sound plays it
  • Can play on the Master channel, so you hear it even with sound effects off
• Text to speech:
  • Any installed voice, and your own message (%s ready says "Vanish ready")
  • Its own speed and volume, and a test button
• Use sound, speech or both.

Features

• Your own game settings are saved and restored automatically, even after a reload while stealthed.
• Preview shows the effects for 10 seconds without stealthing.
• Minimap button: left-click for settings, right-click to turn the addon on or off.
• Optional chat message when the effects turn on and off.

Commands

• /stp or /stealthplus: open the settings
• /stp toggle, /stp on, /stp off: turn the addon on or off
• /stp preview: show the effects for 10 seconds
• /stp debug: show what the addon sees, for bug reports
