StanceBarFix - TBCAnniversary
Removes the grey background art behind the Blizzard Stance/Form bar. Blizzard’s stance bar uses BackgroundArtLeft/Middle/Right, which can appear as unwanted grey plates behind your stance buttons and often comes back after reloads or Edit Mode changes.
If you’re seeing grey plates/frames behind your stance/form buttons in Classic Anniversary, this addon fixes it.
Classic Anniversary’s Blizzard stance bar (StanceBar) uses background textures (BackgroundArtLeft, BackgroundArtMiddle, BackgroundArtRight) that can show up as an unwanted grey backdrop. The tricky part is Blizzard may re-show these textures shortly after login, after reloads, or after UI updates—so the problem can “come back” a few seconds later.
This addon simply hides that stance bar background art after the UI loads, keeping your stance/form bar clean.
What it does:
- Hides Blizzard’s stance/form bar background art textures
- Re-applies after relevant UI updates so it stays hidden
What it doesn’t do:
- Doesn’t reskin buttons
- Doesn’t replace action bars
- Doesn’t change keybinds, layouts, or functionality
Compatibility:
- Designed for WoW Classic Anniversary
- Works alongside other addons (it only targets the stance bar background art)
