Sszorak Opposite Caller

Sszorak Opposite Caller is a lightweight raid utility addon designed specifically for the Sszorak encounter.

The addon provides a simple visual interface with all 8 raid markers arranged around a compass. When you click the marker you currently see, the addon automatically calls the opposite marker in raid chat.

It is mainly intended for raid leaders / callers who want a fast and reliable way to handle Sszorak marker calls without manually remembering the opposite position every time.

Opposite Marker Logic

The addon uses the following opposite pairs:

• Star (1) ↔ Square (6)
• Circle (2) ↔ Diamond (3)
• Triangle (4) ↔ Cross (7)
• Moon (5) ↔ Skull (8)

For example:

If you click Star, the addon sends:

/raid 6

If you click Cross, the addon sends:

/raid 4

The addon only sends the marker number, making the calls clean and easy to use with existing raid tools.

Northern Sky Raid Tools / NSRT Compatibility

Sszorak Opposite Caller is designed to work with the Northern Sky Raid Tools (NSRT) marker-call workflow.

It uses the same raid-chat macro format used by NSRT-style macros:

/raid 1
/raid 2
/raid 3
/raid 4
/raid 5
/raid 6
/raid 7
/raid 8

Because of this, the addon can be used together with raid setups that rely on NSRT macros and raid-chat marker calls.

There is no additional setup required — simply use the addon instead of manually pressing the individual NSRT marker macros.

Commands

/ssc test
Shows or hides the addon for testing outside the encounter.

/ssc show
Manually shows the addon.

/ssc hide
Manually hides the addon.

/ssc lock
Locks the addon position.

/ssc unlock
Unlocks the addon so it can be moved.

/ssc rotate
Toggles minimap-style rotation.

/ssc invert
Inverts the rotation direction.

/ssc scale 0.6-1.6
Changes the addon scale.

Example:

/ssc scale 0.9

/ssc offset 0-7
Manually rotates the marker layout in 45° steps.

/ssc clear
Clears the last 3 calls.

/ssc reset
Resets addon settings.

Manual Rotation

You can also hold Shift and use the Mouse Wheel while hovering over the addon to rotate the marker layout in 45° steps.

This is especially useful inside raid instances where Blizzard may restrict access to the player's facing direction.

Minimap Rotation

The addon includes its own:

Minimap rotation: ON/OFF

button.

When enabled, the addon attempts to rotate the marker layout together with the character/minimap direction.

Due to Blizzard API restrictions, automatic player-facing information may not always be available inside instanced raid content. If automatic rotation is unavailable, the addon remains usable with the manual Shift + Mouse Wheel rotation.
