Description
SpecLoot
Compare Mythic+ and raid loot side-by-side across every spec of any class.
Pick a dungeon or boss, pick a class, and SpecLoot shows you exactly which items drop for which spec — so you can decide which loot spec to set before pushing a key, see which spec pulls the most unique gear from a given boss, or just plan upgrades on alts you're not playing yet.
Features
Mythic+ view — all 8 current-season dungeons in a single icon row. Pick a keystone level from +2 to +10 and the displayed item levels update accordingly.
Raid view — every boss across all 3 current-season raids, in one tile row. Click any boss to see its loot.
Side-by-side spec comparison — a Shared Loot panel for items that drop for every spec of the selected class, plus a column per spec for items unique to that spec. Items that drop for multiple specs highlight in every panel they appear in.
Browse any class, not just yours. The class dropdown defaults to your current class but covers all 13.
Difficulty-aware tooltips — each item shows the correct item level for the selected M+ key level or raid difficulty (LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic), pulled live from the in-game Encounter Journal so per-boss bonuses (trinkets, weapons) come through accurately.
Right-click teleport — right-click any dungeon icon to cast that dungeon's portal spell, if your character knows it.
Compact and self-contained — no item lists to maintain by hand. The addon scrapes everything from the in-game journal on first open and remembers it across sessions.
Usage
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/specloot or /sl |
Toggle the main window |
/sl rescan |
Force a fresh scrape (e.g. after a content patch) |
/sl status |
Print a one-line summary of the cached data |
The first /sl after install or a content patch takes a second or two to scrape the journal. Every open after that is instant.
Switching the class dropdown to a class you haven't viewed before takes another fraction of a second to gather that class's spec data, then it's cached for the rest of the session.
Tabs
Mythic+ — keystone dropdown, 8 dungeon icons, right-click for portals.
Raids — difficulty dropdown (LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic), 9 boss tiles labeled by raid.
