SpecAlert is a lightweight addon for World of Warcraft that prevents you from pulling bosses or starting Mythic+ dungeons in the wrong spec or talent loadout.
When a Ready Check starts, it immediately flashes a massive message on your screen and plays a clear voice alert saying "Check Spec".

  • Instant Alert: Flashes a large warning automatically when a Ready Check pops up.
  • Two-Line Layout: Displays "Active spec:" on line 1, and your talent name on line 2.
  • Custom Voice Audio: Plays a built-in "Check Spec" sound file through the Master audio channel.
  • In-Game Menu: Type /specalert to open a configuration window (also found in the Blizzard Options -> AddOns menu).
  • Font Scaling & Colors: Includes sliders to scale text up to 200px and a full color picker for your talent name.
  • Saves Permanently: Automatically remembers your positions, sizes, and colors.
 
 
🛠️ Slash Commands
  • /specalert - Opens and closes the settings window.
     
     
 
 
📦 Installation
  1. Drag the SpecAlert folder into your World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\ directory.
  2. Open the menu in-game using /specalert to customize and test your alert!
