This is a retail expansion audio pack for SpeakStone Main, the code-only addon that provides the SpeakStone Narration system.

Installation

Install SpeakStone Main and this pack, plus any other expansion packs you want. Enable SpeakStone Main and the pack together in your retail World of Warcraft client. The voices are unofficial, AI-generated NPC-style voices and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. Website: https://speakstone.beanw.co.uk/

Commands

Use SpeakStone Main's slash commands to configure narration, including /ss and the related /ss ... commands.

The addon is only half of SpeakStone. The website is where players help shape what gets voiced next.

• Upload missing game data. Gossip, item and book text, and general NPC chit-chat can't be scraped from anywhere. They only exist when someone plays the game. The built-in Harvester quietly captures text the game doesn't voice yet as you play. Export it with /ssharvest export (or right-click the minimap button) and upload it to the site. It gets queued for voicing in a future update.
• Submit missing quest text. Hit a quest with no audio? /ssmissing opens a copyable window with the text captured for every unvoiced quest you've seen, kept across sessions, ready to paste into the site.
• Report a wrong or broken voice. If an NPC sounds wrong, clips, echoes or reads something it shouldn't, report it against that NPC on the site so it can be fixed or recast.
• Donate your own voice. If you're feeling brave, record and submit your voice to join the pool used to voice NPCs who have no in-game recordings of their own. Every upload helps: text one player captures becomes audio for everyone.
