SpeakStone - Voice Everything in WoW
SpeakStone Narration plays AI-generated voiceovers for quest text, NPC gossip, and item/book text — using a clone of each NPC's own in-game dialogue as the reference voice, not a generic narrator. If Blizzard recorded that character, SpeakStone tries to sound like them specifically. All the voices are as close to the NPC as possible.
SpeakStone is an optional companion addon. It quietly captures text from things the game doesn't currently voice — gossip, item text, quests that haven't been covered yet — and lets you upload what it captured to the SpeakStone website (https://speakstone.beanw.co.uk/) to help fill in the gaps.
From the site you can also report a wrong or broken voice on any NPC, and if you're feeling brave, donate your own voice to become part of the pool used to voice NPCs in-game.
This is the base addon: code only, no audio. Install it alongside whichever expansion pack(s) below cover the content you're currently playing — packs register their voice library with this addon automatically.
Features: auto-play on quest accept/progress/completion, NPC greetings, books/letters/plaques, minimap button, in-game audio library browser, and a way to submit missing quest text so it can be voiced in a future update.
Slash commands: /speakstone or /ss for settings.

Community ask
There's no scraped source text anywhere for gossip, item/book text, or general NPC chit-chat — that only exists by someone actually playing the game with the companion "Harvester" addon running, capturing what they see live. That's the one part of the game this project genuinely can't fill in without players helping.
Footnote. I was originally using an addon called Quest Reader Addon by clhammer89 https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/questreaderaddon and it was great, I noticed the dev wasnt very active and new quests from additional wow patches were not Narrating, so I added the Narration myself, then over a month I decided to do the whole game. In my ignorance it turns out other people have also made AI voice addons too, so take your pick! The thing I like about this one is it uses in game characters as the reference for the neural voices generated and you can add your voice to the game too along with additional items/tomes/books and NPC gossip (just chat with the NPCs). I personally find the reading of the quests more immersive and when you have dyslexia reading walls of text can become a chore. I love hearing the text come to life and the emphasis in the words the characters are say.
