SoulShardBag

Description

SoulShardBag (SSB) helps Warlocks keep Soul Shards confined to a single designated bag. When your shard bag is full and new shards end up in other bags, SSB detects them and queues them as overflow so you can remove them quickly with a single keybind.

This addon is designed for clients where automatic item destruction is restricted: SSB does not delete items by itself. Instead, it provides a secure, fast workflow using a simple /click macro.

How it works

1. Choose your shard bag (bag slot 1–4).
   Your “target bag” is the only bag you want Soul Shards to occupy.

2. When the target bag has free slots:
   Shards can be stored normally in the target bag.

3. When the target bag is full:
   Any Soul Shards that appear in other bags are detected and added to an overflow queue.

4. Remove overflow shards with a macro:
   SSB exposes a clickable button named SoulShardBagDeleteButton. You can bind a key to press it via a macro so you can remove one overflow shard per key press.

Required macro

Create a macro with exactly:

Put it on your action bar and bind it to an easy key (many people bind it to a modifier + mouse wheel) to quickly clear overflow shards.

• /ssb set <1-4> — set which bag slot is the shard bag

• /ssb frame on|off — show/hide the on-screen frame (macro still works when hidden)

• /ssb announce on|off — enable/disable chat notification on overflow

• /ssb debug on|off — debug output

• /ssb scan — force a rescan
