A lightweight Arcane Intellect reminder for mages — a movable, resizable, click-to-cast alert that tells you the moment your buff drops.
# Souls Mage Buff Tracker
Never walk into a pull without Arcane Intellect again.
Souls Mage Buff Tracker watches your buffs and throws an unmissable alert on
screen the moment Arcane Intellect is missing — with a sound cue so you notice
it even when you're looking at your bags.
## Features
- **Instant alert** when Arcane Intellect drops, with a raid-warning sound and
an on-screen message. The sound repeats at most once every 20 seconds, so it
reminds you without nagging.
- **Click to rebuff.** The alert itself is the cast button — one click and
you're buffed. No hunting for the spell on your bars.
- **Fully movable.** Drag it anywhere on screen; position is saved.
- **Fully resizable.** Drag the corner grip, or use the sliders. The icon and
text scale with the frame.
- **Adjustable opacity**, from a subtle 10% ghost to fully solid.
- **Lock it down** when you have it where you want it.
- **Test mode** so you can position and size the alert without waiting for your
buff to fall off.
- **Stays out of your way.** No alert while you're dead, mounted, on a flight
path, or on characters that don't know the spell.
## Usage
Type **/smbt** (or **/magebuff**) to open the options panel: width, height,
opacity, lock, test alert, and reset.
That's it. There's nothing to configure before it works — install it and it
starts watching.
## Notes
Blizzard does not allow addons to cast spells during combat, and secure frames
can't be moved or resized in combat either. So the alert appears and can be
repositioned out of combat; this is a restriction of the game, not the addon.
