SouliFishing – One-Button Fishing for WoW Forever

SouliFishing is a lightweight addon that lets you cast and retrieve your fishing line using one configurable key.

How it works

• Press your chosen key to cast your line.

• When the bobber splashes, press the same key to retrieve your catch.

• Press it again to cast your next line.

The addon uses the client’s native interaction targeting and prepares a cancellation action when no interaction object is reported.

Manual control

Every cast and retrieval requires your input. SouliFishing does not automatically detect bites or fish unattended. Loot collection follows your game’s auto-loot settings.

Compatibility and limitations

Tested by a player on WoW Forever 1.60.1, build 70205, interface 16001. Other clients are unverified.

Retrieval depends on the client’s interaction target. A reported object does not guarantee a bite, and an undetected bobber may result in cancellation without a catch.

Commands

• /sf — Open the keybinding menu.

• /sf diag — Display troubleshooting information.

• /sf off — Disable retrieval overrides; the assigned key still casts.

• /sf on — Enable retrieval overrides again.
