What's new

SnapShot 2.7.0

New: Camera talk

  • Your character says a random Warcraft-themed line when you press SNAP ("Say cheese!", "Say Leeroy!!!!", "Hold still, the flash has a 1.5 second cast time.").
  • With the self-timer on, the countdown now goes into chat.
  • A second line follows each photo ("Now that's a Kodo-k moment!", "Epic quality image!").
  • Each part can be switched off under Options → AddOns → SnapShot → Camera talk.
  • Note: WoW only allows addons to use /say outdoors at the moment you click. The countdown and after-photo lines use /say in instances, party or raid chat when grouped, and otherwise show only in your own chat.

New: Update notices

  • SnapShot compares versions with other SnapShot users in your guild and group, and tells you in chat if a newer version is out.
  • New /snap version command shows your version and the addon page.

2.6.x

  • Renamed all filters with Azeroth-themed names: No Filter, Westfall, Wisp, Thunder Brew, Moon Well, Star Ruby, Blackrock Ash, Dalaran, Duskwood, Spyglass and Gamma Gammarita.
  • Quick snaps from the on-screen camera now eject a mini polaroid that develops and shows its exposure number.
  • Added a camera size slider (50–200%) in settings, or /snap size 50-200.
  • The stamp now shows the exposure number bottom-left and your coordinates bottom-right, in a smaller size.
  • Fixed: the UI could reappear in photos during combat. It now stays invisible while the camera is open.
  • The No Filter tile now shows the original image with an X on top.
  • Added credits and the CurseForge link to the settings page.
