I'm a healer player, and this addon started with something I kept running into. When my attention is fully on party or raid frames, it can be hard to notice whether a spell actually went off. I wanted a small, clear visual cue near my cursor, so I could keep an eye on the group without checking my action bars as often.

That became Smart Combat Cursor. A customizable cursor ring, a moving global cooldown marker and an icon showing your latest successful spell. If you have similar issues, you can try this addon to uplift your combat experience. 

Main Features

• Cursor ring: Choose Solid Glow, Metal, Tech Engraved or Broken Arcane. Adjust size, thickness, opacity and separate normal/active colours.
• Global cooldown feedback: A marker moves around the ring using the game's native GCD timing. 
  
• Action Echo: Show your latest successful player spell icon immediately. Let it fade after a short time, or keep it until the next allowed spell. Place it in the centre, above, below, left or right, and fine-tune its offsets.
• Spell filtering: Leave out icons you don't want to see
• Display options: Always show the overlay, show it only in combat, or show it in combat and instances.

Commands

Type "/scc" to open the settings and modify appearance

type "/scc reset" to reset to the default appearance

Feedback

You can leave feedback or report problems through  CurseForge comments. For a bug report, it would be great if you can include the addon version, game version/interface number, class/spec, steps to reproduce and the first complete Lua error if one appears.

AI Use

I'm building this addon with help from AI tools, and testing it in game as I go. The idea comes from my own experience as a healer, and I hope it makes keeping track of your spells a little easier too.
