SmackyFrog Forever

A step-by-step leveling guide from level 1 to 30 for WoW Forever, covering every race, class and spec, including Skyborne.

SmackyFrog Forever shows you where to go and what to do next, from your first quest to level 30. It plans an efficient route through quests, class quests, flight paths and dungeons, then guides you along it with an arrow, a route on the world map and clear instructions.

Features

• Every race, class and spec. 56 race/class routes in all, each with its own starting zone, class quests and training stops.
• One route through each step. Objectives are in the order you’d actually walk them. The world map shows a single path, and finished objectives disappear from it.
• Waypoint arrow. It shows distance and walking time to the next objective, plus “Way there” directions using flight paths, boats, the tram, portals and your Hearthstone. You can drag it anywhere.
• “Way there” box. The same directions appear at the bottom of the guide window, for players who don’t use the arrow.
• Elaborate button. It gives exact locations, such as which building, which floor and which nearby landmarks.
• Quests are never shown before you can take them. The guide checks faction, class, level, prerequisite quests, reputation and professions.
• Low-level quests are skipped automatically, unless a class quest or dungeon chain needs them.
• Dungeon planning. A skull icon marks dungeon quests and the quests that lead up to them. Each dungeon is planned for two runs, with a “run 1 of 2” counter.
• Death shortcuts in starting zones. A crossbones icon marks the spots where dying and reviving at the spirit healer is faster than walking. There’s no resurrection sickness until level 11.
• Class training on the way. Training stops are added wherever the route already passes your trainer, so you don’t make extra trips.
• Time to level 30. An estimate based on your current level, XP, class and spec.
• Warnings for dangerous monsters. Objectives with elites or much higher-level monsters nearby tell you so.
• Quality-of-life touches:
  • a compact mode
  • completion sounds
  • reminders before dungeons and trips when you’re low on ammo, food or drink
  • minimap button
  • optional TomTom support

Commands

• /sff: show or hide the guide
• /sff skip / /sff unskip: skip an objective, or go back one
• /sff compact, /sff sound, /sff arrow, /sff map: turn features on or off
• /sff help: list every command

Everything else is under Settings in the guide window.

Fair play

SmackyFrog Forever only shows information. It never accepts quests, moves your character, clicks for you or acts on your behalf. It reads your quest log and the quest givers’ dialogs, and tells you what to do next.

Notes

• Quest and location data come from the Questie project’s database and the Classic Era world database, converted for WoW Forever. Forever may change some quests. If a quest giver doesn’t offer a quest, the guide notices and skips it.
