SliceReminder v1.8.11 – Poison Apply & Quality of Life Update

Major usability improvements for Rogue players on World of Warcraft: Forever!

This update introduces direct weapon poison application through the HUD, multilingual interface support, improved poison detection, and important combat-related fixes.

NEW: Apply Weapon Poisons Directly from the HUD

No more opening the character window every time you need to reapply a poison!

Outside Combat

• Select a poison from your inventory or action bar.

• Click the Main Hand (MH) or Off Hand (OH) poison indicator.

• The selected poison is applied directly to the corresponding weapon.

During Combat

• Select your poison.

• Hold Shift and click the MH or OH indicator.

• Apply poison without opening the character window.

Additional improvements:

• Poison indicators remain click-through during normal gameplay.

• Secure weapon-slot targeting for Main Hand and Off Hand.

• Automatically activated poison targeting outside combat.

• Optional HUD poison application through the addon settings.

• Additional debugging and status commands.

• Improved compatibility with WoW Forever's combat restrictions.

NEW: German / English Language Support

• Added an independent addon language setting.

• Switch between German and English without changing the game client language.

• Added translations for the settings interface, feature labels, and important status messages.

• Language preferences are saved per character.

• Languages can be switched directly through the options or slash commands.

IMPROVED: Poison Detection

• Improved poison identification using verified weapon enchantment IDs.

• Added fallback detection when weapon tooltips do not provide recognizable poison names.

• Fixed detection of Crippling Poison (Rank 1 and Rank 2).

• Corrected handling of poisons without consumable charges.

• Crippling Poison no longer displays misleading charge counters.

• Crippling Poison warning colors now depend on remaining duration instead of charges.

• Preserved charge tracking for poisons that use limited charges.

• Improved handling of weapon enchantment data on WoW Forever.

FIXED: Combat UI Restrictions

• Fixed protected EnableMouse() calls during combat.

• Prevented unsafe changes to protected HUD elements while in combat.

• Improved secure mouse-click handling.

• Added support for different mouse-click activation phases.

• Improved compatibility with combat lockdown.

• Preserved normal click-through behavior for the poison indicators.

STABILITY & COMPATIBILITY

• All existing Slice and Dice tracking functionality preserved.

• Sap tracking and optional focus-target monitoring remain unchanged.

• Secure Stealth action-bar paging remains unchanged.

• Auto-Attack Assist remains unchanged.

• Circular and square poison icon styles remain available.

• Existing poison timers, warnings, and saved display positions are preserved.
