SL Community Hub – Version 1.0.41

This update improves the reliability and security of shared WeakAura downloads.

Changes

• Fixed WeakAura downloads remaining stuck on “Waiting”.
• Added direct and prioritized communication with the original uploader.
• Community members with a verified copy can act as additional download sources.
• Added source detection and detailed transfer progress.
• Download requests now include the expected checksum.
• Players with outdated copies can no longer send the wrong WeakAura version.
• Incoming data is validated using the community ID, WeakAura ID, version, and checksum.
• Fixed shared WeakAuras occasionally disappearing during synchronization.
• Added daily date separators to the Community Chat.
• Improved community restoration after addon updates.
• Added detailed WeakAura transfer diagnostics to /insanitysync.

How to share a WeakAura

1. Open SL Community Hub.
2. Select the community where you want to share the WeakAura.
3. Open the WeakAuras tab.
4. Click Share WeakAura.
5. Enter a name and select a category.
6. Add an optional description and change note.
7. Open the WeakAuras addon and export the desired aura.
8. Copy the complete WeakAuras import string.
9. Paste the string into the import-string field in SL Community Hub.
10. Click Share Safely.

The complete import string is stored locally by the uploader. Other community members initially receive only the title, description, category, version, size, and checksum.

The uploader—or another online community member with a verified complete copy—must be available when someone downloads the WeakAura.

If nobody has a matching copy anymore, the original uploader must edit the shared entry, paste the current export string again, and save it as a new version.

For reliable transfers, both the uploader and recipient should use the latest version of SL Community Hub.
