Skinning Tooltip – Classic

Skinning Tooltip enhances the default unit tooltip in WoW Classic by showing what a creature can typically drop when skinned.

When you hover over a skinnable creature, the tooltip displays:

• Required Skinning skill
• Your current Skinning skill
• Possible skinning results (leather, scraps, hides, scales)
• Approximate drop amounts (e.g. 1 or 1–2)
• Frequency labels such as common, occasional, or rare

The addon uses lightweight heuristics based on Classic behavior and is designed to be informative, not misleading.
It does not use loot databases or exact drop tables.

• Supports English and German automatically
• No clutter, no dependencies
• Optional difficulty coloring (can be disabled)
