SimpleThreat UHC

⚠️ IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE

If you are using the Ultra Hardcore addon, you must go into its settings and UNCHECK the option "Disable Nameplates".

SimpleThreat UHC needs nameplates to be enabled to work. It handles hiding the HP and Level for you automatically!

📏 Visibility & Range

Note: This addon modifies the actual in-game nameplates. Therefore, the threat bar will only appear when the enemy is within nameplate range (approx. 20y in Classic). If the game hides the nameplate due to distance, this addon cannot show you any information.

Usage & Settings

The addon works automatically upon login.

Type /st

From there you can toggle features with a simple click:

• Show Health Bar: Toggle the bar on/off (Keep only the colored name for ultra-minimalism).
• Show Cast Bar: Toggle the minimalist castbar.
• Show Debuffs: Toggle the icon display.
• Tank Mode: Switch color logic between TANK and DPS/HEALER.

(Old chat commands like /st role still work for macros).

Key Features

• Hides Information: Enemy Level, Elite/Rare Dragons, and true Health values are hidden. You won't know if a mob is Level 10 or 20 until it hits you.
• Visual Healthbar: The healthbar is always visually "full" (100%). It acts as a target indicator, not a health tracker.
• Threat Visualization: The color of the bar changes based on your threat status (Aggro):
  • White: Neutral / No combat.
  • Green: Safe (or Tank has Aggro).
  • Red/Orange: Danger (You have Aggro).
  • Grey: Tap Denied (Mob belongs to another player).
• Target Highlight: The frame border turns White when you target an enemy, making it easy to spot your target in chaotic groups.
• Minimalist Castbar: A thin yellow line appears under the bar when the enemy is casting. No text, no timer—just a visual cue to react!
• Debuff Tracking: Displays your own important debuffs (Poisons, Bleeds, DoTs) as small icons above the nameplate.
• Crash-Free: Optimized for Classic Era / Hardcore to prevent UI errors during combat.

Are you playing the Hardcore challenge? Do you want to keep the immersion of not knowing the exact enemy HP or Level, but still need to perform your role as a Tank or DPS effectively?

SimpleThreat UHC modifies your nameplates to be compliant with the spirit of Hardcore while giving you the essential tactical information you need. In standard UHC, you often have to disable nameplates entirely to avoid seeing "forbidden" information. This makes tanking or managing AOE threat extremely chaotic. SimpleThreat UHC solves this by removing the forbidden info (Health/Level) but keeping the tactical info (Position/Threat/Casts).
