SimpleTalentWarning shows your current talent loadout in a large on-screen warning when a ready check starts.

STW helps you catch the wrong build before the pull without deciding whether your talents are correct, changing talents, or posting announcements to your group.

Highlights

- Ready-check talent loadout warning — Shows a large on-screen warning with your current talent loadout name when a ready check starts.

- Local-only feedback — Prints ready-check feedback locally in your chat without posting announcements to party, raid, instance, or whisper chat.

- Preview and Test Warning tools — Use Preview Warning for static placement and appearance checks, or Test Warning to see the full warning behavior with animation, timing, chat feedback, and sound.

- Configurable warning appearance — Adjust warning size, position, colors, borders, and fonts to fit your UI.

- Animation and timing options — Enable or disable flashing and jumping warning text, adjust flash duration, and control how long the warning stays visible.

- Flexible sound choices — Choose from supported Blizzard sounds, compatible LibSharedMedia sounds, or built-in SimpleTalentWarning voice warnings, with quick test buttons for previewing sounds.

Sound Options

SimpleTalentWarning includes three sound sources:

- Blizzard sounds — Choose from supported Blizzard sounds with STW's dedicated volume control.
- LibSharedMedia sounds — Choose compatible sounds registered by other addons when available.
- SimpleTalentWarning sounds — Use built-in "Check your talents" voice warnings, including normal, louder, loudest, and reverb variants.

The built-in voice warnings are included with the addon, so no third-party sound addon is required.

Compatibility

SimpleTalentWarning is built for modern Retail World of Warcraft.

It uses Blizzard's ready-check and talent-loadout information to show your current loadout name locally when a ready check starts.

SimpleTalentWarning does not require LibSharedMedia or any other third-party addon.

Optional media support:

- LibSharedMedia can provide additional fonts and sounds from compatible addons.

STW is a focused talent-loadout reminder, not a raid-readiness checklist or talent automation tool.

Commands & Access

- `/stw` — Shows the command list.
- `/stw options` — Opens the SimpleTalentWarning options window.
- `/stw test` — Shows a test warning.
- `/stw reset` — Resets the options-window position.

Aliases: `/stw help` and `/stw settings` are also supported.

Other access points include Blizzard Settings → AddOns.
