SimpleQoL

SimpleQoL brings everyday conveniences to World of Warcraft: automatic junk selling, repairs paid from your own money, and quick map waypoints. On Forever, it also displays equipment item levels in tooltips. No configuration or external addon libraries are required.

Highlights

• Automatic junk selling: Sells eligible poor-quality items once per merchant visit using the game's built-in bulk selling function. Items bought back during the same visit are not automatically sold again.
• Automatic repairs: Requests a full repair at repair-capable merchants after selling finishes. Uses personal money only, never guild funds.
• Map waypoints: Set and track a destination with /way, using coordinates, a map ID, or a zone name in your client's language.
• Equipment item levels on Forever: Shows item levels in equipment tooltips, chat-linked item tooltips, and comparison tooltips while avoiding duplicate item-level lines. Retail keeps its native item-level display.

• Added automatic localization for English, Korean, German, French, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
• Localized merchant messages, currency labels, waypoint instructions, item-level labels, and addon-list descriptions.
• Improved duplicate item-level detection for localized client text.
• Uses English as a fallback for unsupported locales or missing translations.

Omit the zone to use your current map. Use the exact localized zone name shown by your client, or replace 123 with your destination's map ID. Coordinates must be greater than 0 and no greater than 100. Optional text after the coordinates describes the destination.

Compatibility and Installation

This release targets Retail and Forever, with TOC interface versions 120100 and 16001. Features depend on the relevant client APIs; automatic repairs can still run if bulk junk selling is unavailable. In-game validation on the target clients is still pending.

Extract the ZIP into your game client's Interface/AddOns directory so that the TOC is located at Interface/AddOns/SimpleQoL/SimpleQoL.toc. Restart the game after the initial installation and enable SimpleQoL in the AddOns list.

If you previously used the separate SimpleWaypoint addon, disable it when using this integrated version.
