SimpleTransmogAssistant helps you identify collected transmog appearances in supported item tooltips and at vendors, while tracking supported Midnight packs & pouches account-wide.

STA adds clear collection information across common Retail item contexts and shows an unresolved result when an appearance cannot be identified confidently, rather than guessing.

Highlights

- Clear transmog collection information — Adds an "Appearance Already Known" line to supported item tooltips, with optional source progress and information about other item categories that share the same appearance.

- Vendor collected-appearance checkmarks — Shows configurable green checkmarks on vendor items whose appearances are confirmed as collected.

- Account-wide Packs & Pouches tracking — Scan supported Midnight packs & pouches and keep their collection results available across your characters, with automatic updates as supported appearances are learned.

- Acquisition and vendor-location tools — See the cost, currency, vendor, and current location for supported packs & pouches, with clickable vendor names that can open the map and place a waypoint.

- Dressing Room and Shift-click support — Preview tracked Packs & Pouches items with your normal Dress Up modifier, insert their item links into active chat, or place their names into the Auction House search field.

Packs & Pouches

SimpleTransmogAssistant currently tracks six supported Midnight containers:

- Bulging Amani Field Pouch
- Bulging Elven Field Pouch
- Bulging Naga Field Pouch
- Bulging Twilight Field Pouch
- Bulging Ethereal Pack
- Bulging Winter Pack

Each supported container keeps its own account-wide collection result.

The Packs & Pouches page shows:

- Green V — the tracked appearance source is collected.
- Red X — the tracked appearance source is missing.
- Yellow — — STA could not verify the result.

Completed scans are marked as Scanned, unresolved scans can be retried, and a status indicator shows whether all supported containers have usable scan results.

STA can also announce when a supported pack or pouch actually becomes complete. Login, reload, and normal account synchronization do not generate false completion messages.

For supported containers, STA can show acquisition cost, currency, vendor, and location information. Vendor names can open the relevant map and place a waypoint, including Kifaan's alternating location between Naigtal and Val.

Compatibility

SimpleTransmogAssistant is built for modern Retail World of Warcraft.

It supports Blizzard's current transmog, tooltip, merchant, Auction House, Great Vault, and map interfaces while respecting modern protected and Secret Value restrictions.

Optional integration:

- DialogueUI quest-reward tooltips.

DialogueUI is optional, and STA does not require another transmog addon to function.

Some item variants or UI contexts may not expose enough transmog information for STA to produce a collected or missing verdict. In those cases, STA deliberately remains unresolved rather than guessing.

Commands & Access

- `/sta` — Shows the command list.
- `/sta open` — Opens SimpleTransmogAssistant to Packs & Pouches.
- `/sta options` — Opens the Options page.
- `/sta reset` — Resets the STA window position.

Aliases: `/sta help`, `/sta show`, and `/sta settings` are also supported.

Other access points include the optional minimap button, Titan Panel / LibDataBroker, and Blizzard Settings → AddOns.

When reporting an issue, please include:

- Your WoW version.
- Where the item appeared when relevant, such as a vendor, bag, Auction House, Great Vault, or quest reward.
- The item name and a screenshot when possible.
- Whether STA showed an unresolved message when you expected a collected result.
- The full Lua error text, if one appeared.

Reliable transmog information is more useful than confident guessing.
